Yeah, so there’s no new episode for Code Geass R2 this week. Instead, an Akihabara special show replaced the empty. And I’m sure many of you did not watch it – that includes myself. However I did not miss out the preview (as promised) for episode 9 and 10.

So for episode 9, wedding bells are in plan for the loli empress of the Chinese Federation. Now it makes me wondering of how did China reinstated its monarchy and let alone a mere child to govern the empire. What the heck happened to her parents? Anyway, the wedding is going to be of the Tian Zi and Prince Schniezel of the Britannia Empire. Schniezel is up to have some loli love. However this also spells political trouble for Lelouch as the Chinese Federation is where he supposed to bring the exiled Zeroes to take refuge. Also in a similar dilemma is Xingke who is undecided whether or not to stand by his Empress or continue on his personal pursuit.

In episode 10, the answer seems clearer for Xingke. He seems to go against Zero, which I supposed backfires Lelouch’s initial plans. And Xingke is not fighting empty handed. With him is the only Knightmare in the Chinese army inventory without a pilot claiming to its name – Shen Hu. If that is the case, the Order of the Black Knights are done for. They have both Britannia and Chinese Federation going against them.

Judging that the preview is for two episodes – episode 9 and 10, it is possible that this week’s episode will be of one-hour length so as to put in both episodes to compensate the episode skipped for this week. I mean what’s the whole point of previewing episode 10 if you are not going to show it this week anyway. Either way, I don’t dare to say it for certain but it sure does turn out that way.
