Story:
“2312 A.D.
4 years since the final battle between Celestial Being and the UN Forces. Humanity, having established the Earth Sphere Federation, forms an independent security preservation force, Arrows, separate from the formal Federation army to further unify nations and the will of mankind. But the reality was the inhumane oppression of anti-government powers, doctrines & ideologies in the name of unity.
Saji Crossroad, who followed the path to becoming a space engineer to keep a promise to Louise Halevy and fulfill a dream, is also compelled to become involved in Federation government reform.
Meanwhile, Setsuna F. Seiei, surviving the final battle 4 years ago, saw the future of the world that had been changed by Celestial Being. With the defeat of guardian Alejandro Corner, he dreamed of a peaceful world without conflict. But before his own eyes was the reality of the continuing strain on peace, the oppression caused by Arrows. He decides once more to fight with Gundam, the power with the potential to change the world.
Where will Setsuna’s and Saji’s paths take them as the world is set into motion once more?”
Tagline (in contrast to the first season tagline “Rebirth begins through destruction”): “(We will) destroy the rebirth”

Wait, whoa. Why’s Lockon (or his twin) still in the roster?
That, my friend, is Lockon’s twin, Delandy (correct the spelling if I’m wrong). And sorry for not updating for so long but I guess, now, business should run as usual. Hey, is it me or Zero is moderating this blog as well?
original lockon was Neil Dylandy is their last name this is Lyle his twin that has taken up his code name o yea and 00 Gundam will have gunblades.
Oh yeah, stupid me =P
Is it just me or does that sound like it was ripped right off the back of Zeta gundams DVD sets?
OGM GUNBLADES!!
where is the GN sword? without GN sword 00 gundam not perfect
It must have broken. So sad =( Nevermind, there’s gunblades!
lockon startos has a clone i dont know what episode but lockon see his clone in the graveyard =P
Clone? WTF? That guy is Lockon’s twin brother and will take up his brother’s name, Lockon Stratos. Not a clone, definitely.
Hey, man, considering the series’ tendency towards plot twists, I wouldn’t rule anything out. Still, though, Lockon (or shall we call him Neil for ease of reference) had a twin, Lyle. Neil died (thanks for that, Ali. Burn in hell, you pig.), and apparently Celestial Being’s decided it should run in the family. Thus, Lyle’s inherited the codename.
I doubt he’ll be anywhere near as badass, though…
Agree! Ali should burn in hell for killing Lockon. And yeah, I do worry that this new Lockon (Lyle) is not up to par with the old Lockon (Neil). Either way, it’s still great to have Lockon back.
True, dat. I’m more worried they’ll turn New!Lockon into a brooding emo trying to prove himself. Thus destroying what made Lockon so cool; the fact that he was capable of normality. I mean, you could relate to Lockon, and that was pretty important considering the others were a fucked-up super soldier, a child soldier and a robot. Last thing we need is an angst monkey Lockon.
I did some research into the new designs of gundams.
Aside from Gundam 00 with the 2 GN drives on its shoulders, the 3 other new gundams have no visible GN drive eqipped it seems like.
I looked at ARROWS’ mobile suits and it looks like they’re all equipped with a GN drive.
I’m quite interested to see how CB is going to combat ARROWS when it doesn’t seem like the 3 new gundams have GN engine. (Remember how hard it was for CB to fight off couple MS with GN engine in Season 1? Yea…wonder how that’ll play out now)
My assumption is that CB has discovered a new method to utilize the GN particles that the gundam itself doesn’t need an GN engine or some sort.
Not “GN Engine” its “GN Drive” and if you noted the visible “GN Engines” that the particles came out of, werent Engines or the actual drives, they were casings like when nadleeh ejected its drive the thruster cover ejected, then the actual drive, they will all have gn drives, but just because the thrusters arent visible… -_-
@00fan:
If he’s not as badass, I bet ya he’s gonna die!
@Sean:
GN engine? CB built its gundams around GN drives, not utilising GN drives is practically sucidal. Unless only one gundam has the GN drive and the rest of the gundams GATTAI with it! One big gundam with one GN drive.
@Vee:
Couldn’t put it better myself.
what i’m more concerned about is why is Louise with the Federation and what had that Celestial Being traitor done to her. now she has to take pills and SHE HAS HER HAND BACK!! plus from the looks of it seems that there is some sort of neural link interface in her brain now that links the traitor to her now, like teiria and the vader system. i’m sort of looking forward to see if Saiji joins Celestial Being and confront Louise to see what happens, because they still have the GN Armours right? and i heard a rumor on a autonomous Celestial Being mobile suit thats similar in shape and design to that of Exia. oh yeah and that bastard who killed season 1s lockon is coming back again and looks like terria is gonna be the one to take him on. and for some reason i’m starting to get the feeling of gundam wing all over again without the pshycological mind play of course.
Celestial being traitor? Hm, it’s a female version of Tiera. There’s another MALE tiera with celestial being. Louis could be taking pills for the pain. or something. She must be just like Nena Trinity right now, except she’s probably buggy and about to break down due to uhm, buggy firmware.
Saji, support crew of celestial being is a very high possibility right now seeing he has no workplace to return back to. I’m sure he wants to stick around to find out whether their ‘truth’ is the right path. Unhappy ending for him I say.
Saji with GN armours? Setsuna would rather commit suicide I think XD
Ali baba and his magic carpet!
You know what, I think you got it pegged. Kataron is the space colonies, Celestial being will fight on their behalf against the Federation. Or not. Celestial being fights for no one except a world without war.
Wow. That google screenshot…just wow
what..im blurred, why is their too many twins in this story..
OMG, this is so sunrise (twisting the plot, and ,making dead people alive, in this case..the twins of lockon..and lot more)
Uhm, if you are referring to tiera being alive instead of alive, do rmb that tiera might be a cyborg and thus it is possible to bring him back ‘alive’ abiet without his full memories. As for lockon’s twin brother, it was already hinted in one of the episodes for season 1.
Lockon’s twin brother already appeared in episode 9 in season 1, btw. As for Tieria, I’m not sure what he is but he is definitely not human. Also, he got clones for himself. Noticed how Ribbon’s sidekick looks awfully a lot like Tieria? And also in the OP, there’s a scene where a bunch of ‘Tieria’ is produced.
But Sunrise, being Sunrise, must have a masked man. Dead man alive happens in some of their titles but usually, Sunrise must have a masked man as a compulsary addition to the cast.
Oh yeah? Tenner says he lives at least till half-way through the second season.
Hundred says he dies in the last episode. As far as gundam shows goes, the overall plot will be a no brainer. The ‘villans’ of the show will be defeated in succession near the end of the show. Ali will die. Graham will die. Pieres gets defeated. The colonel dies for his son. Remember gundam is more enjoyable for the ride than the eventual end of it. Until then…moar gundams!
Graham, I should point out, however, has now taken over the role of “Masked Ace”, and they’ve been known to live through events. Take Zechs from Wing, for example. And on top of that, I somehow doubt they’ll kill another Lockon off; at least, I hope they won’t. it’d be sooo dumb if every Lockon Stratos died at the end of the series.
What I guess I’d be most interested in is whether or not Saji will join Celestial Being. Now I realise that’s definately up in the air, but those conversations with Setsuna and Red Haro he keeps having… I don’t know, maybe I’m being dumb. Then again, a fight between Saji in a Gundam and Louise would be hella’ cool. Anyone care to wager on THAT?
Graham will ‘die’ when his mask oomes off =p Then he will reveal himself to be the prince of XXX kingdom and protect that kingdom to his death! Kidding. Good point though, forgot about that. Considering lockon’s best interest is of his fellow comrades in kataron instead of celestial being, we might just see lockon being send into solitary confinement until further notice with saji as replacement pilot?
However, the low stats of saji turns CB off and they let lockon 2.0 come back into service lol. I think perhaps Saji will come to realise that he just needs to do what he can to preserve the peace around him and will seek to stop louise from fighting with the A-laws. That could be observed in the ED where he’s grabbing on to lousie’s hand which is holding a gun.
While I can see your point, I somehow doubt Lockon will get removed from active duty. While I can see Saji getting to pilot a Gundam, I honestly doubt (after further reflection) it’ll be one of the ones we’ve already seen. Maybe he flies a Throne mk.II, or something similar?
personally, most of the problems started with the thrones, if they weren’t created then sure the gundams would have been captured but saji and louis wouldn’t has as many problems like her hand being gone, but i guess we can add saji’s sister to that as well, since she was investigating the throne units. there is alot more tragedy in this one than any other gundam i have seen, and that about includes all of them, might have to take that back v gundam was sort of bad…oh well.
Gah, screw Neil’s twin, Felt will be like “you look like him, but you’re not him.”
I’d rather have Neil back in a mask like every other Gundam series.
@00fan: Saji kills neena for her throne and executes revenge on Celestial Being by joining with his lover lousie at Federation! Nah, I think Saji will stick around on Celestial Being by being the handy man. Kinda reminds me of Gundam Seed where’s kira’s friends got turboenlisted as crew of the spacecraft.
@NCGC GenRAVE: Admittedly, Gundam’s ‘drama’ is not as fantastic as Code geass and the characters are as well developed as other anime but look at it this way, we are watching gundam for gundam. Screw the impact thrones had on the people, we want moar gundam!
@Music: Felt was stalking Dyles and it ended badly. Just check out my episode 4 post ^_^ Usually, the masked guy is on the ‘other’ side and comes over in the end based on Gundam Wing and Gundam seed destiny. Neil had zero chance of returning other than being a memory.
Although it cetainly wont happen Neil returning shouldnt be too outrageous considering some of the other characters survived worse explosions our good friends Ali and Mistaa Bushido among them
Ali didn’t really suffer that bad an explosion imo and mistaa bushido just had minor concussions compared to Neil. It is inconcieveable that Neil will live.
On a brighter note, the new episode sure did wonders for Mr Allelujah. And Gundam 00 runs on vista. I bet.
COOL
