Durarara 15: Spoiler Alert

Episode 15 follows the reporter we see from previous episodes. Mika Haruna’s (did I get it right) father.  He visits one main character to another until he gets turned into a freakish mindless zombie who just won’t die.  Little too late to give a spoiler alert, but I think that it is pretty self explanatory to watch anime before you read someone’s take.  If you just wanted a gist of it like “it was good.”, then I suggest you go read RC instead.

I know K-On is essentially a show about girls being girls, but for the lack of a better term, this episode is nothing more (and nothing less) than girls being girls.

Nino and Recruit’s first date!

Sure we all thought the Lambo, fancy dinner, champagne, and karaoke with the Prime Minister’s wife would’ve made a great date, but walking for 12 kilometres (or 7.45645431 miles) to the mouth of a river is so much more fitting for Nino and Recruit’s growing relationship. There was no opening monologue this time around, but Halfadeckshort made some really insightful ties in his review between the story and the monologues – particularly the grass boat which Nino set sail down the river. We pick up with the grass boat again which also gives us an opportunity to see a more candid and raw Nino, and just the tiniest glimpse to her past.

Amagami SS gets green-light

PS2 visual novel Amagami gets an anime adaption to be aired in the summer 2010, aptly named “Amagami SS”.  Unlike my previous post, this was actually announced just three days ago (24 April 2010).

Highschool of Dead gets green-light

“On February 2, 2010, an anime adaption for Highschool of the Dead was announced, and it will be animated by Madhouse. The official release date is planned for July 2010.”
