A Certain Anime-Oriented College Essay

I’m in this hell where I can barely squeeze in time to watch anime and play video games during lunch break called school.  I thought that I would never be able to write about anime until the school year was over.  By a twist of fate, I received an assignment to write a college essay on whatever the fuck I wanted as long as it was within 400 words.  CARPE DIEM! I took the chance to write about anime.  Before all of you laugh thinking that the essay would probably be mocked by peers and colleges alike.  The former actually handed back my paper during feedback and told me it was good.  One actually felt hers was completely incompetent after reading my essay and began another one. (Ok, OK I’m being an obnoxious bastard.)  So, I present to you the essay written on the manga that changed my life, Honey and Clover.  Enjoy. <3

Aniblog Tourney: Update 1

The 2nd annual Aniblog Tourney is in full swing with the first round to completed within the the week, in fact it could already be done, the round is so massive I get lost. And by some wondrous miracle the aniblog gods have seen to it that we won our first match and by a surprisingly large margin too.

So seeing the whole point of the tourney is to readers and visitors to other interesting aniblog’s I thought it’d be a good idea to put the spotlight on our opponents.

Spring 2012 Anime Season Preview

God last season was crap wasn’t it? There were a few good shows but overall it seemed to disappoint just about everyone. I’d make some joke about how the anime that aired failed to keep you warm through the Winter but, no. On that note, look at what we have here! A pretty decent looking season when you get right down to it, there’s something here for pretty much everyone. Like shonen fights? Saint Seiya’s getting a new season for the first time in about 25 years! A fan of Shinichiro Watanabe? (And let’s face it, who isn’t, well, apart from some bloggers here, but they don’t count) Well here he is directing something new for the first time since 2004! Even those of you with gun fetishes have something to look forward to in Upotte! So let’s get fired up in anticipation of the new season with our preview, arriving just in the nick of time!

12 days of anime #6: BEST FUCKING SHOW EVER!!!!

If I were to materialize sex into a anime, that anime’s name would be Honey and Clover.  But no sex before you are married, right? You can watch Honey and Clover as a substitute before then.  Running Honey and Clover was the best decision Noitamina ever made.  The show doesn’t have samurai-esque massive “mobile suits” or exceedingly high amounts of fanservice.  The selling point is its ability to display a slice of life as it really is.  Except for Morita.  He’s just awesomely kickass.

I’m B4CK: Valkryia Chronicles III

Guess whose back? You missed me? Of course, you did.  This is… Valkryia Chronicles, a video game adaption with a legitimate storyline and supposedly good gameplay mechanics.

They don’t waste a second to introduce the love triangle.
