Let me formally notify you that this post is 100% biased because I’ve met my first pop idol crush.  I think that’s what it’s called.  Maybe those into J-Pop might be fawning over AKB48 or K-Pop’s Girl’s Generation idolization understand that idol hysteria.  Well, Sanka Rea’s voice actress -in my opinion- is adorable.

The return of Kore wa Zombie desu ka? only means one thing: The return of not just quality fan service but THE fan service. Quite literally may I say.

First Impressions: Nazo no Kanojo X Episode 1 and 2 – Yummy Magical Drool

Better late than never, right?

Let me call this for future reference:

A few seasons ago, it was ear cleaning (Hen Zemi). Last season, it was toothbrushing (Nisemonogatari). This season, it’s drool licking (Nazo no Kanojo X). So logically speaking, nose picking must be next!

If a guy or a girl happens to romantically or sexually pick the nose of someone of the opposite sex in an anime coming to a near future, everyone who read this and who blog such an anime must quote me as a great genius.

“I am Drunk” First Impressions – Tasogare Otome X Amnesia *hick*

Well, Blindability challenged everyone to write a first impression on a show of her choice. So, she chose for me Tasogare Otome X Amnesia, or Dusk Maiden of Amnesia. It doesn’t matter to me which title is better, because they’re both forgettable. Here’s a warning: I read some of the manga and I despised it, thus making it hard for me not to be biased about this episode or for me to make any sense (especially after the 14th Vodka shot).

 

Avatar: The Legend of Korra

Wait: How did I not hear about this!?

I know Avatar: the Last Airbender isn’t technically anime because it’s not Japanese, and I remember getting really confused when I first watched the original series because I wondered how this particular “anime” had such good English dubbing, only to learn later that it was an American produced series (by Nickelodeon). The Legend of Korra follows the original series, beginning approximately 70 years after the end of The Last Airbender, and focuses on Korra, the new Avatar.

Spring 2012 Anime Season Preview

God last season was crap wasn’t it? There were a few good shows but overall it seemed to disappoint just about everyone. I’d make some joke about how the anime that aired failed to keep you warm through the Winter but, no. On that note, look at what we have here! A pretty decent looking season when you get right down to it, there’s something here for pretty much everyone. Like shonen fights? Saint Seiya’s getting a new season for the first time in about 25 years! A fan of Shinichiro Watanabe? (And let’s face it, who isn’t, well, apart from some bloggers here, but they don’t count) Well here he is directing something new for the first time since 2004! Even those of you with gun fetishes have something to look forward to in Upotte! So let’s get fired up in anticipation of the new season with our preview, arriving just in the nick of time!

I turned off my Aperture Science certified defense turret for just a second then some douche bag with a portal gun swoops into the top secret blogosphere interface in BnB’s orbital space quarters by using the fucking moon as a proxy. I apologize for the people unfortunate enough to witness the hijacking which was quickly stopped thanks to the Aperture Crow Defense Force (ACDF). I fed a canister of repulsion gel into the bastard and laughed as the bastard bounced to death.
