Celebrating 2000 comments: Flamers, followers, Israeli Gundam builders and more

Bokutachi no Blog reached a rather impressive milestone recently, with Executive Otaku nicking the 2000th comment on the blog. And if there is one thing bloggers love more than anything else, it’s comments. Even if it’s just a silly one-liner, even if it’s a troll and even if it’s a flame…scratch that, especially if it’s a flame. There’s nothing more satisfying for a writer to see the comment count rise, far more so than it is to see the view count rise. You could simply be getting over 100 hits a day just because a picture on the page just so happens to appear on the front page of google images when you type in ‘Bleach’. Comments prove your post has been read and the person actually cared enough to process what you wrote and go through that oh so tiresome process of typing out a semi-coherrant response. So this post is a celebration of these comments, what they meant, what they signify and what on earth was going through the writers mind when he wrote them. Comment moar folks!

Asura Cryin’ Season 2 Ep 6

Unfortunately, time has become a big factor in my study life now. And studying is about all I do for life these days so as you can see time becomes even shorter, *sob*. I’m ok though, in case any of you cared, (probably not). But with that, I would like all of you who read and follow my weekly review of Asura Cryin’ Season 2 to please leave me a comment letting me know that you follow. I don’t want to sound bossy and I don’t want to force anyone, but I’m just saying that if I get no manifestations then I will have to stop reviewing this anime.

The Otaku Elimination Game: Brilliantly harsh criticism of anime blogs

It takes a lot of balls to come out and bitch about anime blogs without using generalisations. People will complain about how terrible a vast majority of blogs are without actually ever caring to give any names. Hence when I stumbled across The Otaku Elimination Game I found myself grinning from ear to ear. So if you want to see your favourite, most hated and maybe even your own anime blogs be horribly cut down then by all means pop on over. I do hope that loads of people start following this project they’ve put together because I would love to see some general improvement of the anime blog scene come out of this. And if that doesn’t happen, then at least we’ll draw some amusement from the shit storm that will inevitably be caused by some of the harsh criticisms.

Bokutachi no Blog isn’t listed as one of the competitors. I’m not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed…

Up to Date with: Kaza

Ok, so before I start I just wanted to let you all know that I watch all of my streaming on watchanimeon.com, and recently they’ve added an Asian Drama section to it. So they have movies from all these Asian countries including Japan, but what I set my eyes on first was the Death Note movie. Yet, keep in mind that I have never seen any anime episodes of Death Note because it’s just not my style. But I guess this time I got a little interested with how Japanese movies look like with real people. *deep sigh* All I can say is, that I was deeply disappointed with the movie. They actually have like 3 Death Note movies, but after watching the first, I will NEVER even waste my time watching the next. I’m sorry, but how could they make the main character some ruthless, merciless, coward, who sacrificed his own loved on! I just can’t enjoy something like that, sorry.

By the way, I definitely want to recommend the streaming website I mentioned earlier, only because scamp seems to have been going crazy over some rip-off Craproll he got, XD.

Ho yea, I’m back to do a proper post after posting lots of random stuff. A little bit on the display pic: it’s L from death note, was particularly captivated by the subtle actions of L whenever he ate something and this really got my attention so it was chosen. Well, since Scamp has set the golden standard for our bio posts, no point not using it =)
