After the utter disappointment of Haganai NEXT, I was in the pits of despair.  I didn’t feel like watching anime anymore because all the light novel adaptions I read were crap.  Utter sacrilege.  Hataraku! gives me new hope in humanity!  A rain of beautiful sunshine consisting of poverty, emo facial distortions, and a 100 yen knives.  Just what I needed!   THIS IS MY 69th post

Remember that rant I posted the other day saying:

Sigh, I was really hoping for K-ON! 2.0 with boys edition.

Kyoto got right on it.  BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT I MEANT!  AND THEY”RE SERIOUS!!   They literally just made the four genderbent into hot bishounens. I wanted cute girls who regularly interacted with boys on a day to day basis.  Not cute guys only!  In the fujoshi population of the anime fandom, you can hear the arousal calls of thousands going: “UEHEHEHEHEHEH.”  And the REAL issue is. I might just join them.

i hate how the titles of my posts are all lowercase: a rant in 2 parts.

It surprised me the other day when I had to explain to a person that the purpose of anime is to create fantasies.  Humans have dreamed of other worlds to cope with their situation before long ago.  Have you ever daydreamed while looking out the window of a more stressless time? Say summer break when you went to the pool.  Or maybe you’re daydreaming about reading that book you stayed up late reading.  Thinking of something you would rather do than what you’re doing now is a very common coping mechanism for humans.

Comparing the visual detail and quality to Haganai NEXT is like comparing a Ferrari to a Shopping Cart.

To be honest, the only thing I like about starting a new year is that I get to eat piles of broiled squid frozen in our family freezer for an entire year.  Believe me it’s fking amazing.  You have to freeze it for an entire year because then, the moisture of the squid slowly leaves and you just get the nice chewy meat.  It makes a fucking difference I tell you.  Why do I even bother trying to convince…. brb. Ok back, just had to watch the New York ball drop.  as I was saying… oh yeah! I knew you were hopeless ever since I found out you didn’t like mochi.  Anyways, a sincere Happy New Years for all my readers out there.  I need to free my hands from typing so I can shove more squid into my mouth. PEACE!
