Code Geass R2 episode 15

OMG! I am very late with my episodic review of Code Geass R2. So I’ll make a quick review of episode 15. And yes, I can partially blame this on the lousy internet connection in my apartment.

Lelouch confronts his father at the Sword of Akasha and using a sneaky trick, he uses his Geass on his father and commanded him to kill himself. To Lelouch’s content, his father draws out a gun and shoot himself. More after the jump.

Natsume Yuujinchou episode 3: Houston, we have comedy

2008 has been a Good Year for anime so far. We’ve had Geass R2, Kaiba, Spice and Wolf and many other really good shows. What 2008 has completely failed in is bringing us some decent comedy! I mean so far we’ve just had two sequels with Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Minami-ke, neither of which was as good as the original. Then came spring and what was the best comedy we got? Kamen no freakin’ Maid Guy! It doesn’t look like Summer will bring us any comedic goodness either.

So when you find comedy in a show that isn’t labeled as comedic, you lap it up like its the last laugh you’ll ever get. Code Geass and Kurenai both decided to be funny on occasion, so why not Natsume? So that’s exactly what they decided to do. It may not have been the most intelligent humour, but it sure did make me laugh!

So you watch Naruto on Veoh eh?

There are a few people out there who watch Naruto on a weekly basis. Some people like to download their newest episodes straight off the group who sub them: Dattebayo. Others like to scan veoh or youtube every week or so to get the latest episodes. Well, that might be a bit of a problem since Dattebayo have stopped subbing Naruto forever.

I know a lot of you will simply go 'oh no' in a sarcastic tone, but this could happen to your show

::Edit::  Woops, turns out Dattebayo do this a lot. They just scare their fans from time to time to see their reactions and stop them from uploading them onto streaming sites ::Edit::

Here is Gurren Lagann Parallel Works 5 [WARNING: NUDITY]

Brian couldn’t find it. But I did. At http://gunota.info. Go drop by and say thanks to them. I ain’t a fan so all I can say is, the music for this episode sounds like tracks I would get when I play a EA Sports NBA Live game. AND NOTE: NUDITY IS ALL OVER IT. I REPEAT: NOT SAFE FOR WORK. OR KIDS, GO WATCH SOMETHING ELSE.

Gurren Lagann Parallel Works 6; but where’s episode 5?

As much as I wanted to show you episode 5 of Gurren Lagann Parallel Works, there was no streaming available for it. Apparently the nudity content is a tad too much for public video hosting sites. If you were lucky, you could manage to watch it on Gurren Lagann Parallel Works official site. If you haven’t, then I’m sorry to say that you have missed your chance already.

Now, this week of episode 6 offers something very similar to Gurren Lagann but a quick glance through all the characters would leave you in doubt on who’s who. Simon is more distinguishable but Kamina has little resemblance of Mugen from Samurai Champloo and his fighting style is definitely the same as the referred. With its rock-ish music of “To Hell with Gettai”, the action and the comeback of Gurren Lagann makes this one yet another favourite of mine. Hit play for zero-nudity spin-off of Parallel Works.
