Zero Re;quiem is revealed (Update)

If you happens to stay in Japan or maybe able to grab the RAW file early, you have definitely watch the final episode of Code Geass R2. And yes, the way all things are ending (or about to) is just right. It all happens in a logical manner. So, if you have already watched the episode or maybe spoiled yourself (like myself) and add the fan factor into the equation (like myself, again), you’ll definitely be surprised by the ending. If you have no intention to spoil yourself, I reckon you not to hit jump.

SPOILER AHEAD! DO NOT HIT JUMP!

Hope the warning is clear enough. So here goes the jump.

Let me get straight to the point. Lelouch got everything he wants. Absolute domination. No surprise there. Thought of a happy ending. Afraid not. So he used Geass on Nunnally (for now, I have no idea what the command is). But it is nothing significant. The real question here is what Zero Re;quiem is. The battle seems to have many casualties but rest assured, they all survived. And no, that is not Zero Re;quiem. In fact, Zero Re;quiem is the comeback of Zero. Yes, Zero returns and it is not Lelouch who is behind the mask. Ever wondered what happened to Suzaku? You think he’s dead? Yes, he is. At least, that is what the official record says. The thing is he faked his death and returns as Zero and do the final plan of Zero Re;quiem. And things did not turn out the way I wanted to. Zero assasinates the current Emperor of Britannia. You got it right. Suzaku killed Lelouch with his bare hands.

Now do you think he really died? Well, there may be some truth to it or maybe not. My previous thought that he was dead is purely judging from what I saw from several of spoilers I’ve seen. I guess spoilers always reveal the half truths of everything. I’m saying this because he could either take on the Geass code and lives on or probably symbolically alive through Zero. I have yet to watch this episode and have full analysis. But once I do, I put up my review as soon as I can.

THE END. For a trainwreck, the ending is kind of epic. And of course, it is never the finale without the obligatory “happy ending” group photo.

i disagree, it would suck if he was immortal, for him as much as everyone else. still, anybody smell a movie?

*sigh* I’m not sure, but I’ll say that Lelouch IS dead, because they then show CC in all her mighty careless immortality.

@Forger: Oh wow! A movie? I would love a prequel though. New cast but only with C.C. Explaining the origins of Geass. I mean, I’m bored seeing Suzaku, Kallen, Ougi, and Todou again. But I would love to see Nunnally again though. In her red prisoner outfit XDDD

I would like to see movie(if only they make it), this show is so amazing.

The turning point of whole show is the climax, and is unexpected.
