Hetalia Axis Powers episode 9

I’d be the first to admit I’m a bit of an Internet n00b at times so I only just figured out how to work Google Reader but damn, now I’ve got it working it’s so handy! While there may be some sites, like ANN, that I prefer to visit the actual homepage for, it’s so useful for blogs I like to read. So if you’re one of those people who seem to like reading my weekly blabbering about Hetalia (because it seems like there’s a fair few of you) then add us to Google reader. You have my personal recommendation.

An Irish Hetalia character for Paddys Day

Watching Hetalia inherently makes you more patriotic so, since I’m Irish and it’s currently Paddys Day, I’m going to take a moment to make my suggestion for an Irish Hetalia character.

Paddys day is the only day in Ireland where we fully embrace the Leprechaun. Any other of the 364/5 days of the year he's a tool to get money off tourists

2008 did not produce a classic

Anime Source finished their yearly pollat what the public believed to be the best anime of the year, and completely unsurprisingly, Geass flattened everyone else. But apparantly Geass has mixed reviews and was not as good as the first season, which only scored 5th in the 2006 survey. So why did Geass top the poll? So I’m going to use a psychiotrists system to get to the root of the problem: The 5 whys.

Mind you, you can't deny that Geass was a great anime

Because most people voted it in their top 5

Why did most people vote it in their top 5?

Because it was one of the best series most people saw

Why was it on so many peoples best series list?

Because no other anime was as widely watched as Geass

Because no other anime has as much wide-spread appeal!

Hetalia Axis Powers episode 7

Time is becoming increasingly limited for me at the moment, what with exams and whatnot. Chances are that this blog will have to become a Hetalia only blog until Brian or Loba return, which will hopefully be fairly soon.

You just can't feel grumpy while looking at that smile!

But don’t worry, I’ll be keeping up with Hetalia. At 5 minutes per episode, it’s hardly eating up valuable time.

Hetalia Axis Powers episode 6

Just an interesting fact for you all. Bokutachi no Blog had it’s WordPress birthday 5 days ago. It’s now 2 years old and, for an anime blog, that is fairly old. I don’t believe it was even called Bokutachi no Blog back then, nor did it focus much on anime. But enough of that, let’s get back to Hetalia!

Germanys audition for Strike Witches didn't go so well
