Hetalia Axis Powers episode 14

Exams are looming and time is becoming increasingly hard to come by. So this will be my last Hetalia post for a while. I’m going on hiatus until the glorious 20th June when I’m free again. Sorry to those few who followed my posts but there are a few others out there, my personal recommendation being Metanorn. Thankfully Loba is back posting regularly so you can read his FMA posts. I plan to be back around episode 22 of Hetalia. Once I’m back I’ll do some speed blogging to catch up on the episodes I’ve missed so I’m ready for the finale. Plus I might blog the second season when that comes out.

But for now I might as well blog the latest episode in all it’s hilarity.

Fullmetal Alchemist 2 Episode 4 Review

 

This is a good episode! Edward agrees.

 Just a quick post to say how much I enjoyed this particular episode, the animation once again shows how much BONES has spent on it and I dare say this is the best episode so far with episode 1 being the closest contender despite being less action packed. Read on for a spoiler free short review.

Hetalia Axis Powers episode 13

We are now halfway through Hetalia. However if you were to count minutes, we have only watched about 3 episodes of a normal series. From that point of view, thank god for this second season we’ve been promised.

Yeah, second season is on it’s way, in case you didn’t already know.

Correlation Diagram Generator

A random inter-person relationship generator pointed out by Hynavian. For this test, just like Hynavian, I seek to discover my relationship with Scamp, Brian and Tara(our ninja blogger). Very weird results I must say hmhm.

According to the diagram, I have no relation to Scamp at all while Scamp and Tara are comrades LOL. Somehow, something embarrassing is going on between Brian and Scamp while I am opposing Brian in some way. Between Brian and Tara, who’s the real boss? I’m also a masochist towards Tara while she’s sadist towards me(even though I havn’t met or talked to her before).

Ok, back to studies.

Did I say how much I love the opening? It’s definitely my favourite song of the season. Download the full version here 😉

It’s 0230 hrs over here so full review first thing tomorrow morning. I’m impressed by how the writers are able to complete the arc in one episode whereas the original series took two episodes to complete. I guess this is due to the reduced focus on the side characters and some clever manipulation of the storyline. Overall, the episode is refreshing and hilarious despite it being ‘old’ material. Thumbsup to the crew of FMA 2. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Being too bored, I came up with a ‘product’ which is a mishmash of 3 portable gadgets : Archos 5, Cowon A3 and PSP.

New Xam’d opening for TV broadcast – nearly but not quite as good

Remember Xam’d? It was hardly that long ago, it only ended it’s run about 2 months ago. Yet a poor second half to the season caused it to leave my mind rather quicker than it’s purely amazing first half deserved. Anywho, for the television broadcast of Xam’d, Bones decided to get Boom Boom Satelights to make a new opening (as if there was something wrong with Shut up and Explode). It’s not quite as good the original but it managed to sparked that love of Xam’d that I had all through the first half of the series.

Youtube commenters say it’s quite spoiler heavy, but spoiler comments are nearly always from people who’ve seen the anime and know what they are seeing. You could point to a bizzilon openings as spoilers but you would hardly know any better until you’ve actually seen the series.
