Kämpfer episode 10

Made by []SPIRAL[]

So since nobody on the team is taking up this series yet it seems to be achieving some popularity, I will be the one following it.  The plot revolves around Natsuru Senō, a normal high school boy. One day he wakes up to find himself turned into a girl. A stuffed tiger “Harakiri Tora” comes to life and tells him to fight as a female psychic fighter “Kämpfer”. Having no idea about what’s going on, Natsuru is involved in the battles against other female Kämpfer.

As of episode ten, it immediately cuts to when Natsuru is walking with Kaede to watch the fireworks during the festival.  Kaede seems to have hypnotic control over Natsuru and commands him to love and “have his way” with fellow Blue Kämpfer Shizuku-san.  He agrees but breaks from the hypnosis as Akane and Mikoto disrupt.  Natsuru has no recollection whatsoever of how he got there and Kaede has disappeared.  This whole episode is a cat-and-mouse game between the mysterious White Kämpfers and the Blue Kämpfer.  However in the end, it is noted that Kaede is leading the White Kämpfer.

Poor Natsuru – underneath his crush lies the cold exterior of a psychopath bent on killing other females.

I personally wouldn’t mind being under Kaede, but DAMN that is scary.  I almost feel sorry for Natsuru despite the fact that he is the crush of hot girls.  Just what did he see in her when he announced that she was the love of his life..?  Was will be the key word in the future, ladies and gentlemen, mark my words.

I never understood who the girls were in the cut scenes.  Anyone say fan-service?

Speaking of fan service, they have a bathhouse scene where the girls fight over Natsuru.  Apparently the girl-form has an incredibly hot body so all of them end up wanting to feel it.  Later, Natsuru falls under the spell of Kaede’s hypnosis and tries to… molest… have sex with… join together with… you get the picture… with Shizuku.  Luckily, she knocks him out because she’s suspicious of Kaede.  Brilliant Holmes.

Just what is Kaede doing to the White Kampfer..? I know that she is the leader of them but this is waaaaaaay too much, ma’am.  Kaede has now joined my list of crazy homicidal b*tches.   Funny thing is the Ferris Wheel in the background.  DOES NOBODY REALIZE THAT SHE IS GONE FROM THEIR ROOM?  (Natsuru has an excuse – he was knocked out, but c’mon.  What are the other girls doing to each other?   I wouldn’t be surprised is Shizuku was doing the same to her Blue Kampers).

“Biatch, you’ll never catch me.”

“Daddy, is that you?”

Shizuku confirms to herself that Kaede needs to be delt with 😉

Take that crazy woman out.

    Welcome to the show 😉

Couple of minor corrections: Shizuku is actually a Red Kämpfer, and so is Mikoto. It’s just that she struck a truce with the Blue team to investigate what this whole fighting was all about.

Natsuru’s “hypnosis” was broken during his skinship time with Shizuku, when she kissed him. I believe that this is going to be important, because I expect him to remember this scene (that he was there to sleep with Shizuku, as ordered by Kaede, and that Shizuku was willing to go all the way until she heard that he was there merely as a lackey). At the end of the day, when Shizuku greeted him in a friendly way asking whether he was okay again, we see his eyes widen in shock. I believe that this was when he remembered.

The girls in the cutscenes were the Kämpfer in the first eps, and then they started with human versions of the entrail plushies. The girl up there is the female version of Shizuku’s electrocuted Lynx.

And while Kaede is clearly commanding the White team, Shizuku (as Red Kämpfer) doesn’t have any powers over the other Reds and Blues… they only follow her lead because she’s the only character with brains on the Red/Blue side.

Ahhh… I can’t believe you had the guts to start watching a series without starting from the beginning. hummmm, brave, but whatever. I actually stopped watching this show due to the advise given to me by scamp on his post about some tips on what to watch and how.

Yet, I do have a tip myself. Try not to underline words unless there links. But hey, I don’t want to be like the ‘know it all’. I just base my writing on the feed back I get. 🙂

kaza: You’re missing out on a really enjoyable show, then 😉

SPIRAL: You should at least watch ep2, then. It will give you some important background information about Shizuku you’ll need later.

apart from the fan-service, it actually has a decent plot although it gets confusing with all the different colored Kampfers going around
