ookami kakushi – The Jouga Counting Rhyme

Of course I didn’t ignore this from Episode Seven. I just thought a separate post would be better. I’ll keep updating them with each episode release and provide a link at the bottom of each of my posts.

…If I remember, haha.

Episode One: “Those who commit the two sins, and those who fall from God down to the devil, will bring the God that consolidates sins after them. And before the great scythe, will become a glint in the night.”

Episode Two: “Three, three covered in a fragrance. Writhe in agony, in your empty dreams. Fear your sad fate, the five wolves need just endure the rules.”

Episode Three: “Four. The Jouga wolves were sadly only talked about ephemerally. Their form, which is not human, is now prayed to at the shrine. As if they are gods.”

Episode Four: “Five people don’t know the sorrow of the gods and venerated wolves. The hunters, as if they were covered in red, celebrate their grief, and swing their great scythe down and tremble.”

Episode Five: “Six, my heart trembles like the sound of a bell echoing in the night. The power of the membrane, the source of the scent of the Hassaku will be a way to submerge the malice.”

Episode Six: “Seven are lined up. The meaning of the wolf statues, is that they are placed as a warning. Those left behind still have a closed heart.”

Episode Seven: “Eight, Eight go against it. The screams of the Gods who have broken the rules fruitlessly echo. The overflowing tears glitter in the hunter’s eyes.”

Episode Eight: “Nine, those who exchange kisses don’t resist the flame in their hearts. Those who exchange vows are the only ones who will win, and the only one you can blame for the sad dry season is yourself.”

I have to say thanks for putting the rhyme together. Saves time from going to the end of each episode. Interesting to read through.

    You’re welcome!
I can’t say I get all of the stanzas but it’s fun to theorize who the rhyme might refer to. I also don’t know if this IS the Jouga Counting Rhyme…

These were what I thought were the rhyme at the time. They’re similar to what Kaname recites in Episode 10…

Unfortunately I don’t have the full lyrics.

I’ve searched for almost an hour now… and this place is the best I’ve found so far. So I was going to ask if a video exsists somewhere, that contains all the “Preview” songs. If not do you know anyone that could possibly make one. I guess thats it, Thank You.

Unfortunately I don’t have anywhere to point you to for a compiled version of all the “Preview” song/chants. I’d update it completely but it’s been a while and I’ve since deleted the series. Sorry!

I know the lyrics of this song!

Hitotsu hito demo kami demo nai
    Makkoto no sugatao nazoraeshi
    Jouga no machio kazoe uta
Yoru no shichi mani kibiku kanashi ki sono uta wa.
    Futatsu furachi no kazeshimono
    Kami kara onieto ochita momo
    Fuu jou hara ookami otoshi
Oogama no moto yoru no shizuka to nari ni keri
    Mitsu-mitsu wa kaguashiku
    Hakka naki ume ni mimoraeshi
    Kashki sadame ureitsutsu
Ookami wa tada okite no moto mitaeru no mi.
    Dotsu jouga no ookami wa.
    Kanashiku hakka naku kataraeshi
    Hitoni ara fuija sono sugata
Kami o nokuto ni wa maya shiou shitau satsu wa.

If you don’t believe this is it, then listen the song again 😀
