Giant killing first impressions

If there’s one thing I love more than anime in the world, it’s football.  The european one.  Yes, soccer’s a brilliant sport but many TV shows have not done justice to it.  Hopefully, this anime can bring a bit more light and introduce the brilliance of soccer to the Japanese audience… but they’re already into soccer so… yeah, dunno.

Bad animation, bad characters, and bad direction of story… yessir, if I didn’t play soccer, I would never play it based on this first episode here.  I’ll give it one more episode only because I love the sport, but don’t expect me to blog this.  Manager who?  On a more serious note, this series wouldn’t be so bad… had it aired in the 80s, because then it would actually fit in with the other anime series.  That being said, it was just boring and bad.   Disappointing would be a euphemism.

I’ve yet to watch the episode myself (waiting for subs) but it looks like the anime skips the prologue chapter. That’s bad because you need it to understand Tatsumi.

Yah In that they actually explain his tactics against portsmouth and describe the match.

Portsmouth suck balls and they’re going to get relegated this year anyways

Anybody know who’s going to be subbing this?
Screencaps dont appear promising, but like Spiral I love the sport. Will watch anyway.

Megami Anime announced it yesterday. It will hopefully be out in the near future.

Welcome to Bokutachi no Blog. That's "Our Blog" in Japanese. Our Anime Blog, to be exact. And if you landed to this page by accident, probably in search for ecchi stuff, then you should regret to have hit this page. Don't worry, this blog is children-safe and no misdemeanor acts here. Sorry, you bald, middle-aged perverts. But thanks for the hit anyway.
