Katekyo Hitman Reborn 287: Urgent call

The first of the manga I’m going to blog.  Yay!

…or they can realize that they’re stupid.

What happens?

We leave off from last chapter where a random giant assassin tries to kill Tsuna.  Thanks to Reborn’s dying will bullet, Tsuna easily beats the silly nonsense out of this pathetic enemy.  After Gokudera hears the news, he arranges for both families to meet in order to draw a plan to protect Tsuna’s inheritance ceremony.  No surprise, Guardians of the same elements are grouped together.  The other family decides that they will help but under their own conditions.  Later, our little mystery boss takes out his “symbol of inheritance”.

WHAT.  THE.  FUQ.  As if Byakuran didn’t get killed easily enough, now we’re already transitioning into another family?  And a more pathetic-looking one, in that matter.  Wow, this manga is slipping from any goodness at all.  It’s going to be repetitive family vs. family, nothing in-between.  Why haven’t other families come yet?  What the hell is up with the other family?  And supposedly, this arc is going to be the longest one yet.  Time, eat your heart out.

On the side note, anybody who wants an electronic copy of GirlDeMo’s album (from Angel Beats!) can contact me at hala_chelseafc@hotmail.com.

Yay for manga. Boo for Hitman Reborn getting really chiche. This new arc really has started unimpressively. It really bothers me how Tsuna’s completely reverted to more or less his old self. He’d come SUCH a long way after the Future Arc! If this is going to be one of the longest arcs yet, I really hope the plot picks up soon other wise it’s just going to be looooooong and not in a good way.

I was never really sure why people liked Reborn. I read about 100 chapters of it, but never got to actually enjoy myself. The story is bland, the characters are a joke, the story progresses at snail pace. I doubt I’ll ever get back into this manga. (or the anime for that matter)

meh, it might not be for everyone but its still awesome better than some current popular series like bleach with its 1000000000000000000000x fillers -_-
