Clannad’s end made me cry. Angel Beats’ end didn’t, but it was still a very good finish.

k-on!! episode twelve
No. School. Uniforms. At. All!
No music either though… And here I thought we might get some music (though I hadn’t been foolish enough to anticipate hearing from our After School Tea Time girls in particular) this episode considering the setting was a two-day, non-stop summer music festival. My greatest hope for this episode though, is that it’ll spawn a one-shot episode where the girls perform live at the festival themselves (like the “Live” episode we got last season). Though, to be fair, there was barely any performing in that extra. Why do I watch this show again?
Oh yeah: Because of her.
Wishing on a shooting star (or two for that matter) has never been more entertaining.
I admit I have no idea what the opening shared monologue narrated by Nino and Recruit means. I didn’t know what it meant last week and I don’t know what it means this week. The only thing I can deduce from it is that Nino needs Recruit just as much as he needs her – if not a little more. It reminds us of the mystery that Nino is, asking the question: Who is Nino? Or perhaps better-phrased as who she was. Well whoever she is, was, and wherever she came from, one thing is clear: She and Recruit are going to stay together forever.
Angel Beats! episode twelve
They’re starting to get into that Evangelion-mental crap that the series went through some twenty years ago.
It was kind of funny to see Recruit getting nervous about Shiro-san looking over his business proposal to counter his father’s development plans because, despite being a former white collared worker, Shiro-san was probably the one person Recruit had the least amount of respect for after likening him to a metaphorical leech – and then being likened to him. I think Recruit should make the walking stones white for better accessibility for Shiro-san; he’s been quite helpful in his designer suit.
(And my apologies for being really late with this review.)
GIANT KILLING! episode twelve
Love Hina – “The story is a shōnen comedy that takes place in the Kanagawa Prefecture, and centers on Keitaro Urashima and his attempts to fulfill a childhood promise that he made with a girl to enter Tokyo University together. However, he has forgotten the name of the girl he made the promise to and hopes to be accepted into Tokyo University in order to find her. Despite failing the entrance exam twice, he becomes manager of the family-owned girls’ dorm Hinata House and must balance his new responsibilities with his attempts to pass the university entrance exam and find the girl of his dreams.”
Why. Why. Why do we keep watching this show? (Other than for Misaki, of course).
