Kaichou wa Maid-sama! episode ten

If I got hit on every episode and had to have my stalker (but inevitable crush) come and save me, it would get pretty annoying too.

And yes, we just got over the whole Miyabigaoka Academy incident but now it’s time for Sakura to fall bait in the fanservice of a high school indie band.  What’s there more to say?  Kuuga (the vocalist) is apparently only interesting in Misaki, leaving Sakura to be somewhat heartbroken.  And lo and behold, Usui comes to save the day.  And as usual, Misaki finishes off the guys with a speech about rights, respect, and her authority.  Unlike the previous ‘bad guys’, the indie band decides to leave the girls alone.  Wow, who knew that four good-looking and powerful guys would be such jerks?  Is Usui the guy with the best potential in this series?  Although that’s not saying much, seeing how much of a stalker he is.

Not much to say about the episode, except that it was funny to see the tables turned on our baka-trio with THEM working and MISA is the customer.  I thought they would play a bigger role initially but looks like they only provide Usui with the waiter’s uniform (forcibly) and that last scene where they’re “forcing” the indie band to get out.  Interesting, but not an interesting episode.  This show is starting to go from one of the better ones from when the season started to one of the… lower ones.

Like we've never seen this before...

The repetitiveness of the past few episodes is a downer, especially since Maid-sama’s run is almost over and not much progress has been made. I thought it was decent from the get-go and never really improved, but hopefully that’ll change in the few episodes we have left.
