Team Zero status update

“Come around me and sit down as you listen to this marvelous story, children…”

With my senior editor Blindability so graciously allowing me to put up this post, I shall take the opportunity to update on Team Zero’s behalf.  And before you say anything, of course I’m going to make myself look good. XD

“Our tale begins around the time of the fall 2009 season when Team Zero is limited to Brian, Loba, Blindability, and Kaza.  Brian and Loba were on a holiday to some far-off place where they were fighting Thai guerilla fighters for the sake of keeping anime in the airing on Thai television.  In the middle of this mission, both had recieved a notice that they were needed for a secret burrow project in the depths of Antarctica.  Needless to say, blogging anime series would have to wait – although Blindabilty and Kaza were behind CIA desks blogging about cat curses, robots with human souls, and the whatnot, the Zero division needed more hands.  Luckily, Brian had recruited two new members with the permission of his senior ‘WordPress.com’ – these two new members would be Poro and SPIRAL, one in the Western Hemisphere and the other in the Eastern Hemisphere to cover all times and all global connections.  Although Brian wasn’t sure about the prospective future, these two members became integral parts of the Zero Division.

Brian and Loba left on thier plane to Antarctica soundly as they established the new positions of the more anticipated anime – Poro would be in charge of the action-packed Durarara!! while SPIRAL would tackle comic Baka to Test to Shoukanjou and lolicon Sora no woto.  Although each of them may have covered more than just these series, these projects took a majority of each other’s blogging time.  Blindabilty would tackle  Katanagatari and Ookami Kakushi while Kaza had personal issues to take care off.  But everything was moving smoothly in the office of Team Zero.

Then, tragedy struck.

Kaza had to quit the team due to a change in lifestyle.  He had left the team with great sorrow as the other Team Zero members were sorry to see him go.  While Poro, SPIRAL, and blindabilty had tried to maintain the 2009-2010 winter season after the unexpected turn of events, Brian and Loba had encountered a magnificent foe under the snows and penguins of Antarctica.  This foe had twenty limbs and teeth as sharp as daggers – it could rip you to shreds and it was indeed the worst fear of anime viewers.  Brian and Loba continued to fight with their might but had to back out due to its enormous strength and psychic powers.  The two senior team members would then go into hiding and rehabilitation, waiting for the perfect to refill their anime mana by joining in at HQ’s desks by blogging about zombies, Taiga-look alikes, meteors, and nine-year olds.

Of course, the spring 2010 season was much more productive – blindabilty had taken big project K-ON!! and Arakawa Under the Bridge.  Poro had continued to tackle Durarara!! and Senko no Night Raid while SPIRAL had taken a massive step to cover up for the absence of his seniors Brian and Loba.  SPIRAL took on B Gata H Kei (finished), Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (continuing), Angel Beats (finished), Ichiban no Ushiro Daimaou (finished), GIANT KILLING (continuing), and Mayoi Neko Overrun! (dropped).  All of the series, save for one, were continued and to this day, the major 2010 spring titles can be seen on Bokutachi no Blog’s history.

Then came the 2010 summer – Poro had decided to tackle the monster that had put Brian and Loba to hiding and blindability had decided to scout for him… temporarily while she had her computer fixed.  After Poro left in his  shape-shifting super-plane, blindability followed, leaving much of the 2010 summer season to SPIRAL.  Although he was already tackling GIANT KILLING, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, and Kimi no Iru Machi, he had trained with a sport-training montage for 30 days straight to one day fight the monster should Poro and blindability fail.  He would also tackle Highschool of the Dead, Amagami SS, Ookami-san, Asobi ni Iku Yo, Seitokai Yakniundomo, Sekirei ~pure engagement~, and Shukufuku no Campanella.  That would make a total of ten (10) series per week to write reviews, on top of the Anime for the Sake of Anime posts and other updates from Japan SPIRAL was bringing.  On top of the World Cup in South Africa and moving his things to college, SPIRAL was given the task of the gods.  Whether he would achieve it or not would remain uncertain amongst a busy schedule in an even busier life.

The End.”

Obviously, everything in this story is true up to the monster with twenty limbs.  As the other members of Team Zero are on break right now, I lead the Bokutachi no Blog frontline as a one-man army (ahhhh COD references).  I hope that doesn’t mean Team Zero’s viewers go on break as I’ll do my best to bring you reviews as soon as I can.  Thanks, and blindability will be back soon too.

You know, you could talk with Brian to recruit someone…
As evalon said, add this to the history of the blog that scamp started.

My prediction is that you will blog 7/9 of the series to the end. Hope you don’t quit blogging Kimi no iru Machi as a result.

You know a career in blogging is heavily underrated, what with fighting 20-limb monsters, watching anime and writing about it! Team Zero are my hero’s.

Aside: World Cup in SA is going great, have been to two games myself and lived at most of the fan parks. Semi-final day today, Cape Town is almost completely Orange today, if Uruguay wins though there is going to be some serious violence going down!

I think Uruguay would have beaten the Dutch if Suarez was playing and the ref saw Van Bommel chopping players legs off.

BTW I do think hiring someone else would help. Add another character to the epic history

the dutch are really diving the last few games, but Spain’s going to win – Villa will pip Sneijder for the golden boot

Sorry, you bald, middle-aged perverts. But thanks for the hit anyway.
