Windows 7: A Review for Gaming/Anime

This summer I installed Windows 7 onto my Thinkpad T61 by Lenovo.  Having read only 2 reviews from Riuva and PCWorld, I decided to give my own personal review simply because I know a lot of you are planning to get it.  Naturally, you would want my opinion since I am such a popular aniblogger who posts spontaneously after a 3 month hiatus.

You may commence fapping Continue reading ‘Windows 7: A Review for Gaming/Anime’

k-on!! b-side theater 01

When it comes to K-On’s B-Side Theater, I have to admit I’m not sure how I feel about it. It’s not as funny as let’s say Shinigami Illustrated Picture Book is – or at least supposed to be – but then again, it doesn’t follow the same format. Anyhow, B-Side Theater is always, always silly. There was one from the first season about Mugi’s eyebrows: So what if her eyebrows look like pickled radishes? It adds to the yumminess of her character. The first installment for the second season features Azusa who’s reading up on fortune telling – particularly dream interpretation. According to Azu-nyan, everyone, in their former life, was a bug. …I hope she didn’t pay too much for that book. These little shorts are never important to the plot and most times, easily forgettable.

Ookami-san episode eight

Well, today I officially moved into my new dorm at U of I and I’m liking it so far – apart from everything college-related aside, I have all the time in the world to blog the anime series I promised to review.  First things first – I apologize to those who came to this blog during the last week for some of my episodic reviews but only found links that I have given to other blog sites for reviews.  I’m back, and I’m looking to finish what I’ve started.  And that’s the good news so far.  Well, that’s basically all the news I have to give as of now.

Funny thing that my post coming back from my hectic week off should be the one that I started this season with – Ookami Ryouko and his seven friends.  From the beginning of this series, I had written the whole title to just Ookami-san and… [insert title] to Ookami-san and Seven Companions, and now it’s just going to be Ookami-san since that’ll be the easiest thing to write.

k-on!! episode nineteen

After seeing Episode Nineteen, I believe there is one reason and one reason only why all of class 3-2 voted Mio to play the part of Romeo and Ritsu to play Juliet:

Now everyone can graduate with no regrets.

SPIRAL [update]

For the last three days, I have been moving things in and out of my house since all the stuff came in from Korea.  Needless to say, I will be moving into college starting from the day after tomorrow and I am loaded with crap to do.  That being said, it hurts my heart to not review the series I am doing up-to-date so I will draw your attention to other blog sites that have written great responses to it, but I will be starting again next week.   Danke.

Amagami SS episode seven

One of the latest criticisms this anime has been receiving is that in the latest Kaoru arc, the pace is much too slow given the fact that both of the characters have been good friends for a long time.  I can agree with this – in the very first episode, Kaoru was the one madly in love while in the second episode, Junichi joins the puddle and falls in love with her.  You’d expect two people who are in love with each other to already go out, but I guess Kaoru does really well to hide her emotions.

Last episode presented Kaoru with some mommy/daddy issues that clearly affect her relationship with everyone.  While I did expect it to be somewhat impacting, I feel that the anime clearly spent way too much time on this issue rather than the relationship – the entire third episode revolved around Kaoru’s family problems and the what not.   Sadly, by this time in the Haruka arc, Junichi and Haruka were already doing the lovey dovey cosplay with each other in front of everyone.  Ironic, much?
