Gosick: Exploitation. Fanfix.

Gosick, needs a legit mystery novelist.  Conan Doyle is rolling over in his grave right now. Spoiler rigged.  But, I revised version of the story would be a much better read by not watching the anime.  LOL, I realized what I just said. I digress. A shit load of text without pictures.  Like reading a book. Deal with it.

Gosick 4: The Headless Motorbikeman

a (noob) fanfiction by Poro

Kujo rides down the road with a bike latched on with a cart filled with enough ham and cheese to feed the entire school.  Kujo’s face is flushed with red.  Sweat stings his eyes.  “Sophie-san is so mean, just because I know her better than most of the other students she makes me do her errands,” Kujo thought.  He recalls enjoying his delicious ham and eggs with a side of salad when suddenly a jug filled with milk slams on the table.  Startled, he chokes on his egg but quickly manages to choke it down.  He looks up and stares at Sophie, the school cook, with a what-the-hell-do-you-want look.  Sophie meerly grins and hands him a slip of instructions.  Without a word, she walks off.  Luckily, Sophie wrote down the instructions meticulously.  She forgot to order ham and cheese for tomorrow’s breakfast.  The instructions said that the market was just a bike ride down the south road.  The note had money attached and noted the location of the cart.  What it neglected to tell Kujo for obvious reasons was the length and the terrain of the road.  Kujo puffed at his final hill.  When he hears a motorcycle.  He stops at the top of the hill. He didn’t want to get hit by a seemingly really fast motorcycle.  He looks back then to the front when he notices the side road off to the left.  He looks at the bike trying to tell the biker to slow down.  Suddenly, he notices that there is no head on the biker and that the bike was splattered with quite a large amount of blood.  Horrified, he jumps out of the way.  The bike crashes and the blow knocks him back a foot.  Horrified, he turns back to his bike to rush to the investigation office back in town.  He couldn’t find it.  It was just right next to him a second ago… Kujo catches a glimpse of it. Downhill.

Victorique was enjoying a high quality tobacco in her good old pipe.  Ah, reading 3 books at once. What fun! Victorique flipped a page when she hears some voices. “Stop pushing!”

“Hurry up, Murderer”

“For the last time, I didn’t kill him!”

“Just get in the elevator.”

Ping~

She doesn’t bother looking up.  Her brother did something stupid again.  He arrested Kujo for murder.  Considering that Kujo got arrested and no one else did.  He must be the sole witness, which explains why Kujo is very late today.  Considering her brother, He is probably in handcuffs.  Grevil loved showing off.

“Victorique! Help me”

What a nuiscance, Kujo clearly can’t see that she is trying to read and was perfectly busy.

“Victorique!”

She gets more annoyed.  Kujo and his shitty english accent.  It’s so bad that she thought her ears would bleed.

“Fine, tell me what happened…”

♦……………..♦……………♦…………….♦………..♦………Gosick………..♦………..♦………………♦…………………♦…………♦………….♦

So he was murdered using a wire?  Victorique was interested.  His head was cut off with a steel wire.  He was going so fast that his head rolled all the way down the hill.  The man was Vlidu Da, a investigator reporter, Grevil knew him personally as one who was really bad at toAD, a popular team board game at the time.  Nothing helpful from Grevil.  As usual.  Now she had to pull it out of him.  As usual.

“What was he working on at the time?”

“Some investigation on a thief who dissappeared 8 years ago”

“Wait why would he investigate someone who has already stopped commiting crimes?”

“He was pretty obsessive about it.  The last time I saw him, he actually thought he found the clue to the man’s true identity.”

The thief wasn’t important.  If he spent 8 years MIA, he probably isn’t a suspect.  If the thief was so concerned about this investigator then…

“Did he travel a lot?”

“He went to all kinds of places.  Different countries all across Europe.  His th…”

Definitely not the thief, the thief could easily have made it look like an accident.  Chopping someone’s head off is unrefined.  Completely unprofessional, it just draws too much attention.  Which is what he would want to prevent if he were in hiding… Taking a whiff of smoke…

“The wire, I am pretty sure you brought it…”

What an idiot, the evidence is damaged now.  Whatever, she could still solve it.  Wait, that’s a good thing more thinking! But, his henchmen and the courts are idiots.  They probably wouldn’t care about the evidence being improperly handled with.

The wire.  Interesting, one straight out of a steel wire factory.  Very thin.  Looked strong enough to do the trick.  His head came clean off.  No wonder.  But wait, the edge… she’ll explain.

“The murder has a cut hand.”

“Wait what?”

“The edge is tainted with blood meaning that the person cut his hand while setting the wire up.  I can’t believe you retards didn’t even notice.  The wire probably was done by someone with strong hands.  So clearly male.  Kujo, did you hear anything while you were riding back?”

“Etooooooooooooooooo… not that I remember.”

“The person still is in the city look for him! A male with a cut hand.  Probably working in the steel factory.   If the person had a car, Kujo would have heard it.  The South road also is extremely long.  You would have to have been paid a lot.  Which isn’t likely.”

♦……………..♦……………♦…………….♦………..♦………Gosick………..♦………..♦………………♦…………………♦…………♦………….♦

Lucky, she thought.  Grevil found the man at the steel factory.  The cut was fresh and clearly from a sort of wire or thin knife.  They got him with stacks of food and a rented motorcycle.  The city was after all, very small.  He was also gone for a lengthy period of time, skipping out of work.  Only two others did and both didn’t have cuts.  Very lucky.  Grevil was continuing investigations.  Victorique wasn’t satified.   The motive wasn’t there.  But judging from the fact that he is working as a poor factory worker, it would probably be money.  Perhaps, it was the thief who hired him.  Or someone close to him…

Ping~

She was about to find out.

-retold by a guy with too much time on his hands with a growling stomach.  There is an easter egg in here.  3 for one of our authors.

It was intended to be a mystery but the mysteries are shit. I tried this format to get a hang of writing fanfiction because this WAS my first time. I will try to make it more interesting and humorous next time. Thx for the comment btw.
