Now that the world didn’t end.. READ!

Hey there! I hope there are many survivors out there, otherwise, writing down this post for purposes other than keeping a personal diary would be meaningless…

While waiting for the world’s end (again…) I had nothing I would like to die watching, hence I started checking on my manga sites and found out some really good titles (well, not all of them, but some where highly recommendable…). So I thought to myself that if another apocalypse is about to happen soon (you know, every 2 or 3 months the world is about to end at one point or the other… ) these are some titles that you could read while your parents wall the doors, granny prays in unknown languages in front of a set of candles in a corner of the room and your neighbors run like headless chickens around your yard (for those that are laughing, this is not a joke, but an anecdote…).

So, hope you like these recomendations, and if you don’t, I’m always open to suggestions (and donations, of course..)

SKET dance episode 7

SKET dance gives a separated couple a love-story ending. Also, an exciting cameo by Bossun’s sister and mother.

Hanasaku Iroha Episode Seven

&

Dear Poro: I’m sorry for your gain.

So after casually mentioning that I’d wished I’d picked AnoHana instead of Hanasaku this season, Poro’s very kindly offered to swap. However, rather than just handing it off to him for the remaining 19 episodes, I thought it would be more fun to review Episode Seven together. I have to admit that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to switch with Poro just in case Hanasaku decided to get good again, but after watching this episode… I think I’m ready to say good bye.

[C] The money of soul and possibility control – Episode 6

Wow! I’m breaking my record by posting my reviews less than 7 days after the episode is aired! Hope this doesn’t become and habit or I’ll be forced to spoil my readers, hehehe!

This time the plot is getting mature, introducing new schools of thought regarding the future of the Financial District and Kimimaro equally.

There goes someone's future.. it tastes good with pepper...

AnoHana Episode Five

(I misjudged the order of posting and so my first sentence won’t make much sense… I’m also far too lazy to change it, though it may have been about the same amount of effort it took to put in this opening disclaimer.)

If you’ve When you read Poro and my review of Hanasaku Iroha Seven, you’ll know that Poro’s granted my wish and given me AnoHana. …Wondering what my end of that deal was, are you?

[C] – The money of soul and possibility control – Episode 5…

Yay! Finally will post for this show with a reasonable delay! Not that I have much to say about it, but more I have questions to make and hopefully someone out there will have the answers I want…

Ok, first, I won't be putting any extra phrases in the post's titles... the show's name is long enough to cover for my daily amount of written characters...

Revisiting old films: Final Fantasy VII Advent Children

The Turks make this awesome to watch.

So what do you do on a day when you are 1) down with fever + dry cough and 2) bored to death. Rewatch old films! Final Fantasy VII advent children, first released in 2005, then again in 2009 as bluray. The latter is the director’s cut which I just rewatched and well, the extra scenes don’t really make a big difference. This might sound heretic but I never finished playing FFVII, I installed it on my computer back in 1998 and it wasn’t powerful enough to run it. I installed it again in 2007 and it was too old to be run on windows xp. I tried playing it on PSP but then I lost my PSP! Now I have the chance to play it on Galaxy S but I’m selling it! Perhaps I might complete it on my new phone Samsung Galaxy SII but it seems I have digressed too much. Let’s see what made this movie rock and not rock from the point of view of a person who never ever completed Final Fantasy VII nor Crisis core on PSP. P.S. There has on and off rumours that there could be a remake of FFVII for PS3. If that happens, I’m so borrowing a PS3 from my uncle.
