Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai – episode 4

Is it just me or was this entire episode about ruining Kodaka’s reputation?

Persona 4 the Animation – Episode 4

With this episode, we close out Yukiko’s plot in spectacular fashion. By emphasizing events that were alluded to, but never clearly shown in the game, the anime shows us slightly more about the characters whilst still remaining faithful to the source material, giving us its best episode yet.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai – Episode 3

There are very few times I outright prefer one sub group over another (except that I always go for FFFansubs when it comes to Ika Musume, I hate squid puns) but I’m going to suggest that everyone stick to Mazui for Tomodachi. Aside from just being generally high-quality subs, the shouting matches with Yozora and Sena become way funnier with insults that I’m not sure I’m entirely allowed to post here. (I really wish I could, but I’m not sure how NSFW I’m allowed to go)

Persona 4 The Animation – Episode 3

Things really get going this episode. We begin to delve into social links (a core part of the game) and the plot is properly starting, with more of our protagonists getting bigger roles, namely Chie and Yukiko.

Fate/Zero Ep 3: Final Preparations to the War

It’s never too late to post this. The God of Motivation certainly wasn’t there for me this week. I’d also like to say that there won’t be any Fate/Zero post this weekend since I have a big midterm assignment to start and finish. So, next weekend, it will be a double-episode coverage (Ep 4 and 5).

Humbled Master is humbled.

blindability is indecisive…

I was pretty sure I was going to review Un-Go this season, but while waiting for the first episode to air, I had the opportunity to watch a lot of other first episodes and read reviews on what other people thought of them. There were a couple of shows that I thought would be good, like Chihayafuru and Mirai Nikki, but I couldn’t be sure until I watched them. … And they’re pretty good. Which made me think I need to take a closer look at what this season’s offering before I make any commitments.

Boku wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai – Episode 2

Maybe it’s because I’m a gamer, but I particularly enjoyed this episode of Tomodachi, in which the neighbours club decides that the best way to make friends is by playing videogames, namely Monster Hunter and eroge.

Persona 4 The Animation – Episode 2

I don’t get most gamers despite being one myself. Here we have a very faithful, incredibly solid adaptation of a great game, and fans have been criticising it for that very reason, it’s faithful. I’m willing to bet that if it wasn’t faithful, fans would have criticised it for that too. Can’t change it, can’t keep it the same, apparently they’re impossible to please.

And honestly, isn’t the point of an adaptation to be able to experience a story told through a different manner? You can’t claim it’s bad because you know what’s going to happen with the plot (something I’ve honestly seen lots of people do), that’s just being plain unreasonable.

Anyway, back to actually talking about episode 2…
