Yes we’re late so lets skip the pleasantries and move right on to business. The fall (or autumn as we call it here) anime season for the year of 2011 is right around the corner so lets have a look at what we’re in store for.
Team Zero presents Bokutachi no Blog’s Fall 2011 Anime Season Preview…
New Stuff

The story will follow the coming of age and Shinki battles of Tsubasa, a boy who dreams of becoming a Shinki Master, and his Shinki partner Arnval Mk. 2.
Based on Konami’s Busou Shinki line of armed female action figures.
For what it is, a 4-minute webcast, it’s not terrible. Doesn’t make it worth watching though… |
The pre-aired episode hints to me that the anime is going to be decent, but, if every episode ends in a cliffhanger, It’s going to annoy me because it’s a freaking 4-minute per episode series. |
Mecha? Check, well mini ones at least. Girls in skimpy outfits? Check. Many many of said girls? Check. Hmm, so… Infinite Stratos season 2? If its only 4 min eps than I may as well watch them then, I did like the score for trailer, Had some real presence. |
This doesn’t sound bad, but it doesn’t sound very interesting either. Plus it’s only four minutes which means if it is good, I doubt it’ll be very satisfying to watch only four minutes of it – and then have to wait a whole week before the next four minute installment. Unless it was like Fireball (plus Charming), because that managed to be satisfying, two-minutes per episode, and because the episodes weren’t related to each other, you weren’t dying while waiting for plot progression. |

Trailer |
In the far future, humans abandon the devastated Earth and move to the upper world “Tenjo”. But Tenjo and the law of causation collapse by a war and humans returns to the Earth, which has turns into an inhabitable planet except for Shinshu area.
Shinshu is too small to accommodate all the humans, so they duplicate the area and create “Juso Sekai” in a parallel world. In order to rebuild Tenjo and the law of causation, the returned humans start reproduction of the history from B.C. 10,000. When the reproduction proceeds to A.D. 1413, a war breaks out in Shinshu and Juso Sekai falls onto the original world.
The humans living in Juso Sekai lose their land and invade the original world. People in Shinshu surrender and the land is divided by the invaders from Juso Sekai. They try to resume the history reproduction from A.D.1457, but the update of the history terminates in A.D.1648. A rumor of apocalypse begins to spread the world.
The plot sounds intriguing, I’ll give this a shot. Also, what’s up with the design of the male protagonist? |
I’ve read the plot and It sounded interested, but then, I looked at the trailer… Oh boy, I see something that looks like an adaptation of a mediocre fantasy RPG. All this anime is about is a bunch of busty or moe girls fighting with high-tech weapons. And, you would think the animation is beautiful, but the characters don’t even blend into the background…Bravo Bandai&Sunrise, You’ve succeed to fail in something you’re supposed to be good at! P.S.: The main character looks like a pedophile which is singly the only reason why this show is intriguing. |
This seems awfully complicated, I hope its only a single cour show else it will just end up boring like Shangri-La did. There does seem to be a whole lot more action in the show though going by the trailer alone, but trailers can be and usually are deceiving! Will definitely get the 3 ep treatment though. |
The plot seems somewhat interesting, but I feel like I can’t take the character designs seriously. So it’s no for me, but I’d like to know from other people on how it goes and if it turns out to be good (and that’s good, not tolerable). |

Trailer |
Daimon Kaito is a high school boy, who loves puzzles. One day, the president of the student council gives him a mobile device and it leads him to an underground ruin buried in the school. He challenges an “insolvable puzzle” hidden in the ruin with his girlfriend Nonoha, but the puzzle turns out to be the dangerous “The Puzzle of Sage” created by the black society “POG”. He manages to solve the puzzle but it’s the beginning of a puzzle battle against POG.
The fact that it’s on a educational network was worrying, but then I realised it’s the same network that aired Dennou Coil. which I really enjoyed. So I’ll try this out. |
The artstyle does not attract me at all. |
Wait, is this about sudoku? Coz I love me some sudoku 😀 Seriously though, it may be cool if they have some legit tough puzzles. |
Wait: POG? Like… Pogs? I might be dating myself here, but this show has instantly lost all credibility, even if the puzzles this kid has to solve are super challenging and intense. |

The Hunter x Hunter manga series by Togashi Yoshihiro (Yu Yu Hakusho, Level E) currently has 28 volumes to date with the first TV anime series airing from October 16th, 1999 to March 31st, 2001.
The new series will sport a new staff and voice cast. It has also been confirmed that the new project will retell the story from the beginning.
So this is kind of a big deal, yeah? I know a few people who highly recommend the manga, so I’ll definitely check this out. |
I hope Madhouse makes HXH more violent, because I really don’t see any other point for them to do a remake seeing as how the original had an animation that ages well over the years. |
Never read or watched the previous incarnations of this, but I know many (probably too many) people who rave about it. And if MADHOUSE can pull off an FMA: Brotherhood-esque retelling of this, its bound to be good. Same mangaka as Yu Yu Hakusho, which was cool. |
I’ve got a friend who’s been hounding me to read Hunter x Hunter for a while so this seems like a good alternative to actually sitting down and reading it, haha. |

High school 2nd year, Amano Yukiteru, is a boy who has problem making friends. He thinks of himself as a bystander and will always write down everything he sees in a cell phone diary.
Tormented by solitude, Yukiteru began to imagine things like a friend called Deus Ex Machina who is apparently the Lord of Time & Space. Seeing Yukiteru’s miserable state, Deus gives him a new ability. His diary will now record events that will happen in the near future. Yukiteru is then forced to participate in a game which the winner will become Deus’ successor.
asread upset me, but apparently the manga is crazily good, so I’ll definitely be watching this. Oh God, Early Edition, I remember that! Yeah, I was never really a fan of it, but still, I do see the similarities. |
asread doesn’t seem like a bad anime studio, just a studio unknown to me (LOL). I’ll definitely watch Mirai Nikki simply for my love for Yuno Gasai. |
This sounds awfully like Deathnote for the digital age. 😛 |
This reminds me a bit of this really old TV show called Early Edition where the protagonist received ‘tomorrow’s’ newspaper. This sounds interesting, but unfortunately doesn’t sit very high on my priority watch list. |
I followed the manga since chapter 1, might have blogged about it before but it is a real mind f*** for sure. The WTF effect in Deathnote is incomparable to Mirai Nikki aka Daily Future Diary although Deathnote is more intellectual for sure. (Yea, I made a mistake) |

Takeru Ohyama, a young normal yet perverted minded guy, got accepted and now goes to a school that, unknown to him, was where combat and magic is used. On the first day, he meets again after three years: Haruko Amaya, his childhood friend, Inaho Kushiya, a girl who says she’s his fiance, and Kodama Himegami, a blonde who wants to kill him. Finding out that there are many girls there that just don’t like him, he is told that everyone there uses a special magic ability while using an item or weapon called a Maken. Later, he finds that no Maken is acceptable for him and doesn’t know what to do, since in this school the students get into duels that showcase their magic and combat power, to which he seemingly has none.
This sounds remarkably uninteresting, I’ll wait and see what the word on the street is with this one. Was that an actual trailer or just a collection of panty shots? I’m really not sure… |
I liked the manga for what it was…until I got bored (lol). Maken-ki will in no way be a special anime that would be a must-watch. It’s just some fun mediocrity. |
Lots of pantsu in this trailer, I think I even saw some camel toe. I may look into this. |
Big breasted, panty-flashing, magic wielding school girls, plus one idiotic looking male protagonist equals zero interest for me. |

Ufotable |
Action / Supernatural |
01-OCT |
Trailer |
Fate/zero takes place 10 years prior to the events of Fate/stay night, detailing the events of the 4th Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City.[1] The War of the Holy Grail is a contest in which seven magi summon seven Heroic Spirits to compete to obtain the power of the “Holy Grail,” which grants a miracle. After three inconclusive wars for the elusive Holy Grail, the Fourth War commences.
This is written by Gen Urobuchi, of Madoka fame. I think otaku law states that you have to watch this. I should mention, I’m still very excited for this, despite owning the complete collection of Fate/Stay (I’ll never know why I bought it) and not enjoying it. |
For the simple fact that Ufotable is producing Fate/Zero, I think it’s almost safe to say this show is going to be WIN. |
This is another one of those on the “I will watch after I watch the 1st season” list. Yes I know… I’m a shambles. |
I wonder if I need to have seen Fate/Stay to understand this. Nonetheless I’ll probably check it out, and if it doesn’t make any sense, then I’ll marathon all of Fate/Stay and then all of Fate/Zero. After I marathon the first and second episode of Shinryaku!? Ika Musume. |

It has been a few hundred years since humans began to live on space colonies. In A.G. 101, an unknown enemy (UE) “GAFRAN” suddenly attacks one of the colonies “Angel”. A long war against UE has begun.
In A.G 108, seven year old Flit Asuno lost his mother when UE attacked his colony “Ovan”. His mother left him a memory unit “AGE” which had stored data of an ancient mobile suit Gundam. In A.G. 114, Flit completes the Gundam AGE and counterattacks against GAFRANs.
Wait, Level-5 is handling the script!? Don’t they make games? I know there was an adaptation of Inazuma 11 but still, this is weird. I do love their games though (especially the Professor Layton series), so this could be worth a look. |
“unknown enemy”… This feels like alien vs human kind of thing. Also, a kid BUILDING a Gundam…Yeah, it seems like a very PG show to me. I’m not sure how PG Gundam is, but, then again, aside from the UC OVAs, post-tomino Gundam hasn’t been anywhere great. I think change is in need. Seriously, how many Masked Char clones do we need from now? ZERO! I hope Gundam Age tries to be something different from those mediocre Alternate Universes Gundam shows. |
Its GUNDAM, so I will definitely watch it although I’m slightly worried about all these kiddies though. SUNRISE is pumping out quite a lot this season. |
Now I understand the presence of aliens in Gundam 00, it’s to preempt this!!! This looks far less serious than Gundam 00 and Gundam Seed. And only 1 Gundam? =/ Agree with jGLZA, it looks kiddish but that might be a ‘new’ ‘interesting’ direction from SUNRISE to capture a whole new generation of gundam kid lovers =/ |

Sato Yo is a high school boy who likes SEGA games. One day, he enters a grocery store to buy some food for dinner. When he tries to take a bento box, he loses consciousness. He comes around to find all the bento sold out. He notices there is a war game going on at grocery stores and players called “Wolves” compete for the half-priced bento. Yarizui Sen, the leader of the Half-Pricer Club, forces Yo to join the club and he enters the bento war.
This sounds… Interesting. I’m not looking forward to it, but this sounds too strange to pass up. Hell, I might even blog this one, that would be fun./td> |
Oh Japan and your weird concepts… I’m not sure how Ben-to will turn out. I’ll give it a chance without putting much expectations into it. |
This is too crazy to pass up, I will probably end up loving it. No pressure. |
Whoa. I would totally fight over a half price bento. How this is going to last for 12 episodes, I don’t know. Does he have to fight a new opponent per episode? Do you get a lifetime supply of half-price bento if you win the survival battle? Or is it just the pride of winning a half priced bento? |

Meiji-era story about a detective named Yuki Shinjuro, who solves various incidents that happen in his circle of friends. The adaptation will utilize an original story set in the near future, revolving around the detective and a boy named Inga, who continually encounter mysterious cases.
Dammit Bones, what is it with you!? I lose all faith in you due to No. 6, and then you make this!? I have to watch this, it sounds fantastic. How can you do this to me! You’re tearing me apart, Bones!! (+100 Homeslice points if you get the reference, these points are good things that can be redeemed absolutely nowhere) |
I feel totally indifferent towards this show (lol). Until I get to watch this, I prefer to remain pessimistic. Also, Inga is a GUY?!?!?! NOOOOOO!!!! I can bet $100 that this is going to be the obligatory mediocre show that’s going to be on the noitaminA block. |
This has one of those “We are Serious” animation styles reserved for serious anime which I normally love. But for some reason I’m not really looking forward to this. |
I’m definitely going to watch this. That kid is wearing a panda hood! … Seriously, I have no idea what this is about, and I know it might be really bad, but I’m still going to watch it. |
Futuristic shows, ok, that’s enticing. @Gooney: No. 6 novel is slightly better, the anime had to squeeze too much within that last few episodes sooo, things just kinda get nonsensical. |

2011, Seta Souji moves to the countryside to his uncle’s house due to his parents working abroad. Not very friendly, he however manage to make a few friends there, and they all decide to solve the mystery behind the sudden cases of serial murders that strikes the area.
My body is ready, I’ve replayed the game in anticipation and I couldn’t be more excited for this. I accept full responsibility for any emotional/physical harm suffered by those who are watching this because of me. |
The animation looks stylish and gorgeous! This is probably one of the must-watch shows of the season. |
I’ll watch this because Gooney said so. He will also be held responsible if it sucks or leaves me emotionally scarred. Just needed to get that in writing. |
I watched Persona 3 and that was … weird. However, I still liked it despite the story not really making any sense to me. I know Persona 4 and Persona 3 are different and they’re not linked and I shouldn’t judge Persona 4 based on Persona 3 – so I won’t. If I don’t like Persona 4, I too will blame Gooney. |

The story takes place in Tokyo in 2039. After the outbreak of the unidentified virus “Lost Christmas” in 2029, Japan has been under the control of a multinational organization called GHQ. Ouma Shu is a 17 year old boy who has a psychic power in his right hand. He can use the power “Ability of King” to extract tools or weapons from his friends. He has been avoiding making trouble for others but his life changes when he meets a girl named Yuzuriha Inori, a member of a resistance guerrilla group called “Undertaker”, whose members pilot mecha weapons to fight against the government.
I’m really looking forward to this, absolutely stellar staff working on it, and the premise sounds intriguing. This is definitely one to watch. |
With Un-go looking pretty mediocre, I can only guess Guilty Crown is their cake of the season. It looks like a heroic shounen anime that either stun me with greatness or bore me to death with the power of generic cheesiness. |
Hello noitaminA, how are you going to knock my socks off this Fall? Oh, I should see Guilty Crown you say? Ok. |
I know this is one of the heavy weights of this season so I’ll probably watch it just so I can be like everyone else. But I don’t promise that I’ll like it. It sounds interesting – very interesting, but it needs to make sense. (I guess we won’t know that until the very end though.) |
Ability of kings? Now where have I heard that before… |

MADHOUSE |
Slice of Life |
04-OCT |
Trailer |
Chihaya is a light-hearted tomboy, who’s not especially good at anything in particular. Her dream has always been for her sister (an aspiring model) to become the number one beauty of Japan, or perhaps of the world. But then one day she meets someone who tells her that a dream is something that should concern only herself – and something she has to work hard for as well. At the same time, Chihaya discovers a passion for the old Japanese game hyakunin ishhu, also called “karuta”.
Well, along with Persona 4, this was the other show I wrote a post on solely to communicate that, yes, I’m incredibly excited for this. Morio Asaka may just be my all-time favourite anime director and he hasn’t done anything in while, so this should be great. The manga is pretty great as well, good news all-round on my end. Also, THANK YOU MADHOUSE, I knew you’d return to form. |
Let’s see: cute and tomboyish girl. Madhouse won my heart (lol). I’ve found my 101th waifu! |
Its got that cool animation style I like. But after Usagi Drop I may not be ready for another slice of life. Or is it a romance? A girl and two guys, it must have some romance. Fine I’ll watch it! damn you peer pressure! |
So the main protagonist pursues a newly found dream to rule the world of Karuta? I think whether or not I watch this series through will depend heavily on what kind of personality Chihaya has and how interesting a game Karuta is. I’m definitely interested but I can’t say for sure that I’m excited for it in any way. |

Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing is a new original tale in the Last Exile universe. It features new characters, new mechanics and an all new story centered around the young ace vanship pilot, Fam, and her trusted navigator, Giselle, as they pilot their vanship, Vespa, through the free and peaceful skies.
I kinda loved the original Last Exile and whilst I don’t think this will live up to that (you can thank the Witchblade scriptwriter for that, god I hate Witchblade) it should be entertaining regardless. The setting is lovely and the concepts shown in the original show still make for great viewing, so it’d be hard to mess this up. Last thing, why does this season seem to be about returns to former glory? First Madhouse, now Gonzo. What’s going on? (and no, I don’t count Nyanpire as part of Gonzo’s return) |
The first Last Exile put me to sleep and so, I’m not even going to bother with Fam, The Silver Wing. |
Come on GONZO, you can do it! I wish them the best, but I’m still not going to watch this though. Does anybody else think it looks kinda like FFXII? |
The original Last Exile is on my watch list. But Scamp says you don’t have to have seen the first one to see and understand (and enjoy) this one, so I’m going to watch it and hopefully like it. |

YES YES! WATCH WATCH! |

Remember when Manglobe was still that up-and-coming new studio that started off magnificently by creating Samurai Champloo? Remember when they seemed to be bursting with new ideas and made Ergo Proxy? Remember those wonderful days? Yeah, Manglobe doesn’t, and so we get shows like this. |
This looks bad even as a harem. |
This doesn’t look very Manglobe-y, whats going on? But unlike my 2 colleagues I’m not one to bail on one of my favorite studio’s. Its Manglobe, they’re good, they make good anime, so… this looks GREAT! *prepares to eat own words* |

Hal Film Maker |
Slice of Life |
03-OCT |
Trailer |
The story takes place in Seto Inland Sea and is about a girl who likes taking pictures.
Wasn’t this originally an OVA? I remember, it was a fairly generic and surprisingly pleasant slice of life. By no means was it anything more than average, but it wasn’t exactly bad. This’ll be the kind of show that I’ll kind of half watch while I do other things. |
I thought the OVAs were okay. It was cute and light-hearted, but you wouldn’t miss anything if you pass on this show… |
I’m going to mark this down as another reason why K-ON is awesome, its allowed for more seemingly meaningless yet cool (and beautiful) anime to be made. |
Hmm. I watched the OVAs and didn’t hate them, but I didn’t love them either. There’s a ‘fuwafuwa’ feel to the scenery and the characters in the show which make it really easy to watch, but at the same time, there’s also a lot of useless that goes on that some people might find intolerable to watch. There was a depth to the OVA story as Fu (or Potte) felt connected to her late father through her passion (and fluke talent) for photography but I don’t know if that’s going to be continued in the anime series. I may or may not watch to see if it’s worth my time. |

Kawakami City is famous for its strong dedication to its samurai ancestors. A healthy fighting spirit is always valued and it’s even an important factor for success at school. Yamato, a second year student from Kawakami High School is always with his close friends (4 boys and 3 girls). They have all known each other since they were young and have done many things together. While they have many other friends, this group of seven is a close-knit, inseparable group. They even have a secret base where they meet. With the new semester, they welcome two girls into their group and shortly after things begin to change…
I honestly have no thoughts on this whatsoever. I’m completely indifferent here. Also, it’s been scientifically proven that watching this lowers your mental ability by up to 30%. |
The new Ikkitousen? Oh god, here comes another boring ecchi non-sensical action show. |
Samurai girls with no boobs? GTFO! Look at what Japan has done to me! |
No comment. Except that this looks stupid. |

A school battle action & love comedy with ecchi elements. Yachi Haruaki is a high school boy and naturally resistant to curses. His father, Honatsu, sends him cursed instruments called “Worse” to try to break this. One day, Haruaki receives a black cube from Honatsu. During the night, he encounters a naked silver haired girl stealing rice crackers. She is the human-form of the black cube, an instrument of torture called “Fear in Cube”. Haruaki and the girl ‘Fear’ fight together against other ‘Worse’ instruments and their owners using Fear’s 32 mechanisms of torture.
This sounds interesting, and there’s an extremely capable staff here, the writer previously worked on Cowboy Bebop. So I’ll be watching this. This gets my vote for dark horse of the season. |
Hmmm, I see girls with psychopathic facial expressions. Oh yeah, this reminds me of Freezing, without the exposure of discoloured nipples. I see potential in FAILURE. |
For all the moe lovers I assume. Possible Saimoe 2012 finalists? |
No. I dislike the character design and I find the summary uninteresting. For no good reason this reminds me of 11eyes which I gave an honest try and got really upset because it was so bad and didn’t make any sense. |

Trailer |
The story revolves around four teens — the good-looking twins Yuuta and Yuuki Asaba, the effeminate Shun Matsuoka, and the class head Kaname Tsukahara — who have known each other since early childhood. While they are not necessarily good or bad friends, they continue to hang out well into high school. The half-Japanese transfer student Chizuru Tachibana joins the circle of friends in this comedy about the everyday life of adolescence.
Wow, a Slice of Life with a predominantly male cast, you don’t see that every day. this is another show that I’ll probably take a wait-and-see approach with, but I don’t expect much from this. |
So, where’s the female lead?!?! A show without a female lead is so rare especially if it isn’t a Yaoi. P.S.: I’ve just read on ANN that the show is scheduled for 26 episodes. This could be 26 episodes of greatness or…PAIN. I probably don’t have the resolve or energy to go through the entire show and I blame crappy anime for that. |
lolwut? Male version of K-ON? (yes, every slice of life I watch gets compared to K-ON). Yeah I’m down for that… wait, JC Staff. Hmm, maybe just the 3 ep test. |
I’m definitely going to watch this. It is so rare to have a slice of life centred around males – just males; who aren’t boyfriends (and presumably don’t want to be boyfriends with each other). But… 26 episodes does make it a bit of a longer show, which means it’ll have to be pretty good if anyone’s going to watch it in its entirety. (Although Hanasaku Iroha had plenty of bad episodes in between its good start and good finish.) |

Hasegawa Kodaka has transferred schools, and he’s having a hard time making friends. It doesn’t help that his blond hair tends to make people think he’s a delinquent. One day, he runs into his bad-tempered solitary classmate Yozora while she’s talking animatedly to her imaginary friend Tomo. Realizing that neither of them have any actual friends, they decide that the best way to alter this situation is to form a club and start recruiting. That is how “Rinjinbu” was formed, a club specifically designed for people who don’t have very many friends. As other lonely classmates slowly join their little club, they’ll try to learn how to build friendships through cooking together, playing games, and other group activities. But will this group of relationship-challenged misfits really be able to get along?
I really, really enjoyed the Manga adaptation of the light novels. It may not be anything special, but it was surprisingly hilarious at times. Another show I may be interested in covering this season. |
When I see those characters’ lips, I think of Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko (lol). Aside from that, this seems like a fun harem comedy. I’ll probably watch this. |
“This is the story of a very pathetic everyday life” Forget that boy K-ON show, I’m gonna watch this instead! |
This actually sounds kind of fun so I’ll probably watch it for a bit to see how it goes. But if they’re all socially inept, isn’t it like the blind leading the blind? |
Sequels
Shinryaku!? Ika Musume 2
Thaivu22: OMG YES! Even better than Mark Henry winning the world title in WWE is the Return of Ika Musume. WORLD DOMINATION!
Working’!!
jGLZA: Everybody’s favorite restaurant service anime is back with even more stereotypical restaurant humour. I personally rather enjoyed season 1 but as its a comedy, its a rather low priority for me this season.
Bakuman 2
Thaivu22: I thought Season 1 was one of the better anime adaptation of Shounen manga since 2010, seeing as how Nurarihyon no Mago, Yumekui Merry and Beelzebub were, at best, mediocre. It wasn’t great, but I liked it enough for me to want a 2nd season.
Zero no Tsukaima Kessakusen
Gooney: I watched the 1st season and found it to be an enjoyable and fun romantic comedy. I never got around to watching the rest, but I will one day. This should do nicely in the meantime.
Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi 2
Blindability: Being the last one to add my comments, I thought it would be funny to change all of my male teammates’ comments to be really, really positive, and anticipatory of this show, you know, like: “This is the best show ever!” “I have been waiting all summer for this one show” and “SQUEEEEEE!!~” But I didn’t want them to be upset with me, haha.
Overall Season Thoughts
Wow, this season is looking pretty terrific, we get an adaptation of one of my favourite video games, a proper return to form for both Gonzo and Madhouse, and two of the best looking noitaminA anime in a long time. There’s a hell of a lot that I want to watch, and I barely have enough time at the moment! But for anime that looks THIS good, I’ll make time. Colour me VERY excited. |
Like every season, I’m noticing some terrible shit and some potential treasures. However, what matters the most is that Fall 2011 marks the debut of the greatest Yandere ever, Yuno Gasai! |
Is it bad that I’m not overly excited? I mean there are lots of shows that look like they’ve got great potential, plus a handful of other shows that might be this season’s underdog, but I’m still just not excited. To be fair, I don’t think I’ve ever really been properly excited about any one particular season. I think my feelings going into Fall 2011 are positive. And if all else fails, I guess there’s that lengthy “Watch List” I could turn to. |
Spring was too cold, Summer was too hot but this Fall is just right! i was kinda overwhelmed by the ultitude over shows I really wanted to watch last Summer, this Fall though, there are only 2/3 must watch shows imo which is perfect!
Overall the season is a nice mix of genre’s & themes but lacks some outright quality especially for a Fall season, hopefully I’m wrong though, I’ve been known to be wrong before. |

I have to say this fall season has me more excited than I have been about an anime season in a while. Just some great potential with series like Persona 4 and what should be some excellent sequels. Mirai Nikki, a new Gundam, Fate/Zero, and the revival of HunterXHunter (which I never saw originally so here’s a good time to start). Hard to say how things will turn out, but have to say this looks like a great season.
Nice job on the preview :).
