poro’s select preview

I hated making preview before.  I’d get the chart from some random chart maker.  The clean beautiful chart would then be defaced by my red ink of dispproval of half the series.  So, I’ve come up with a new system!  Eat more chicken and do previews of shows that I’ve watched.  This does still include ones that I don’t like, but at least I can pull some evidence from the first episode itself to prove to you why it’s gonna be boring.

Tokyo Ravens

Basically the generic fantasy anime of this season!  YAY.  More arbitrary fanservice, staple haremettes, and all the things that Sonico-chan offers solo.  Like honestly, just look at that picture and you basically get all you can expect from this anime.  Well, bit too early I suppose to banish it to baddom.  But, this first episode was not enchanting.  If the first episode isn’t enchanting, then the studio probably doesn’t know how to make a good anime.  See that’s how boring the first episode was.  I don’t even know the studio.

ERMEHGERD the haremette catches protag cheating

Best part of this anime is having that blondy over there lick a chocolate banana.  Yeah and the only reason that part was good is purely biological.

Log Horizon

this anime is so boring it doesn’t even deserve a header.  Moving on.

Coppelion

This anime is DECENT.  It’s not great, but it holds its own.  The characters are developed and believable.  The world’s details and quirks are maintained to a degree.  The story process was thought out, not brilliantly, but it is calculated to work out as a good story.  Kinda like Applebees or Uniqlo.  Both pretty damn good stores in maintaining a certifiable quality, but not groundbreaking in their respective fields.

Each of these heroines are distinguishable and work well together.

A SMARTPHONE IN ANIME!!!!

This anime has generic problems, but I can forgive it because of its pacing.  The girls are cute.  The character isn’t too disgustingly perverted.  The premise is promising.  I feel like it might be butchered, BUT you never know.  High hopes.  Actually, I’m shamelessly biased for this anime because it has a maid in it.  Ain’t gonna lie to you.

Kill la Kill- trigger’s series debut

When you have a misc en scene like this in an anime, it’s probably gonna be awesome.  

Kill la Kill is the lovechild of Kill Bill and Gurren Lagann.  In fact, trigger is made up of former gainax, Lagann’s studio.  Now to describe the anime.  It’s basically one girl with a super powered seifuku and a super powered half-of-a-scissor VERSUS THE FUCKING WORLD!!!  It has BIG SPUNKY RED LETTERING to introduce it’s characters.

Coshtume raep!

And it’s got a powerful, not-objectified, confident, convicted protagonist which is REALLY really REALLLLYYY refreshing.

You know that all she’s wearing is basically a skirt and g-strings from the chest down….

Ok, a little objectified.  But the rest I just said is a hundred percent true.  And it all mixes brilliantly into this awesome kick ass experience.  It’s something only a genius could pull off.   Studio Trigger wow’ed me with their one shot Little Which Acadamia.  But this is just awesome.  And I want more of it.

Kyoukai no Kanata

This anime is a staple, but done well.  It’s what Tokyo Ravens should have been.  But it isn’t.

I mean I don’t even need to comment on this photo.
