I took this guy’s beautiful chart and scribbled my opinions on it.  I suggest navigating the picture at 50% and zooming in to see what anime didn’t get X’d out by me.   I’ll paste my first impressions on each of the anime I think have potential here.

Moving Forward

Many apologies for the lackluster updates on our side, some distractions have cropped up recently. So much that I had intended on posting this almost a month ago <sigh>…

Long time followers and readers of Bokutachi no Blog will know that we’ve had quite a few writers on team to date. Turns we have built up a pretty decent legacy of sorts with some really talented writers having spent some time here. And fate has once again seen it fit for us to change things up again.

Aniblog Tourney: Update 1

The 2nd annual Aniblog Tourney is in full swing with the first round to completed within the the week, in fact it could already be done, the round is so massive I get lost. And by some wondrous miracle the aniblog gods have seen to it that we won our first match and by a surprisingly large margin too.

So seeing the whole point of the tourney is to readers and visitors to other interesting aniblog’s I thought it’d be a good idea to put the spotlight on our opponents.

What an amusing episode.  Well, dunno what to really say about this.  All’s fair is that I’m going to just metablog this episode and consider whether I should/should not continue to watch this episode.  Like always, I’ll consider the comments whether I should stop/continue to blog Mayoi Neko Overrun!

I’m in your blog, talking about Honey and Clover

Using my l33t hacking skills, I have worked my way into THAT Anime Blog and started to deface their blog by rambling on about Honey and Clover. OK, not strictly true. I was invited by one of the authors to join him in a joint, ani-blogging project to discuss our alternate opinions on this widely praised Josei series. Though I’m a bit disappointed you can’t see some of the behind the scenes discussion what occurred while writing the post. Honey and Clover to PlantetES to Code Geass to the IRA to punk rock to Darfur to Kannagi and so on. I’ve turned off comments on this post in order to encourage you to go comment on the post in question over on THAT instead.

The Otaku Elimination Game: Brilliantly harsh criticism of anime blogs

It takes a lot of balls to come out and bitch about anime blogs without using generalisations. People will complain about how terrible a vast majority of blogs are without actually ever caring to give any names. Hence when I stumbled across The Otaku Elimination Game I found myself grinning from ear to ear. So if you want to see your favourite, most hated and maybe even your own anime blogs be horribly cut down then by all means pop on over. I do hope that loads of people start following this project they’ve put together because I would love to see some general improvement of the anime blog scene come out of this. And if that doesn’t happen, then at least we’ll draw some amusement from the shit storm that will inevitably be caused by some of the harsh criticisms.

Bokutachi no Blog isn’t listed as one of the competitors. I’m not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed…
