My sexuality is being jeopardized: Kyoto new project is K-ON! w/ ONLY boys!

Remember that rant I posted the other day saying:

Sigh, I was really hoping for K-ON! 2.0 with boys edition.

Kyoto got right on it.  BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT I MEANT!  AND THEY”RE SERIOUS!!   They literally just made the four genderbent into hot bishounens. I wanted cute girls who regularly interacted with boys on a day to day basis.  Not cute guys only!  In the fujoshi population of the anime fandom, you can hear the arousal calls of thousands going: “UEHEHEHEHEHEH.”  And the REAL issue is. I might just join them.

Now for the specs:

For The Win by Cory Doctorow Book Review

I digressed too much as I was writing this. So you’ll just have to click continue on reading, because the intro got too wonky to use as an intro.  It’s extra long to compensate for something ;D

Light Novel: Zaregoto Volume 1 and 2

You see, I don’t get to read novels very often; so my knowledge in literature may be limited. However, if there something I know, is that Zaregoto is a fun read, especially for a person like me. The “me” as an anime fan is a sadist, the “me” in the internet is a narcissist and the “me” in the real world is passive and apathetic. Back to the subject, Zaregoto is written by this totally unknown author called NisiOisin. All this dude has done in his life is Bakemonogatari, Katanagatari and Medaka Box…No Big Deal >.>

English Publisher: Del Rey (formely), Kondasha USA (now?)
Number of Volume released: 2
Price: 11-12 bucks each.
Genre: Action (sort of), Mystery, Murder Continue reading ‘Light Novel: Zaregoto Volume 1 and 2’

A look at gaming – Review: Resident Evil: Revelations

Three Resident Evil games in one year? As a huge fan of the series, I’m ecstatic about it, however, I’ve had this nagging feeling in the back of my mind ever since RE6 was announced. I felt that maybe the series was spreading itself a bit thin, and that the quality of the games would suffer as a result. With that said, I’m very happy to announce that not only is Resident Evil: Revelations as good as I’d hoped, it’s also probably the greatest showcase for the 3DS thus far.

First Impressions: Natsume Yuujinchou Shi

According to the most recent Season’s Preview done by the Bokutachi no Blog team, it seems that at least half of my writers have never watched Natsume Yuujinchou. I know, now that the series is into its fourth season, it seems daunting to start at the beginning, but I think the story and characters are so believable and easy to invest in that you’ll find yourself breezing through the first three seasons and onto the fourth.

Or you could just start with the fourth.

Review: Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon

I will not remember December 24th, 2011 as the date of Christmas Eve, but rather as the moment when Fate/Zero Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon ended. Oh well, at least Horizon is getting a second season in Summer 2012. It was to be expected since the numbers for BD pre-orders were said to be pretty high. The first BD volume of Horizon sold 16,349 copies on the first week of release.

12 days of anime #6: BEST FUCKING SHOW EVER!!!!

If I were to materialize sex into a anime, that anime’s name would be Honey and Clover.  But no sex before you are married, right? 😀 You can watch Honey and Clover as a substitute before then.  Running Honey and Clover was the best decision Noitamina ever made.  The show doesn’t have samurai-esque massive “mobile suits” or exceedingly high amounts of fanservice.  The selling point is its ability to display a slice of life as it really is.  Except for Morita.  He’s just awesomely kickass.

And if you landed to this page by accident, probably in search for ecchi stuff, then you should regret to have hit this page. Don't worry, this blog is children-safe and no misdemeanor acts here. Sorry, you bald, middle-aged perverts. But thanks for the hit anyway.
