Another – episode 02

I’ve been putting off writing this for a few days now, because I think this episode was even slower than the last. The only thing that seemed to be of huge note plot-wise was Kouichi learning about the dead girl who just so happens to be called Misaki, and the living (?) Misaki taking off her eye patch in the very last seconds of the episode, and we didn’t even get to see what was under it, though it made a great hook for next week.

First Impressions – Another

Prior to watching this episode, I’d heard incredibly mixed things about it. Some declared it to be far too slow and dull for its own good; others said that the pace worked greatly in its favour and that it was one of the better shows of the season.

I’m here to tell you that if you enjoy horror (particularly J-Horror) at all, ignore the opinions of the former; it’s hands down my favourite first episode of the season.

Team Zero’s Winter 2012 Season Preview

Happy new year everyone! May the year be filled with happiness and prosperity! So let’s get to what we’re really here for. With every year comes four more anime seasons, and if the Mayan calendar is to be believed (pro tip: it isn’t) it’s the 4th last season we’ll ever see, so we’d better make the most of it! It may not be the greatest of seasons, but there’s a fair amount of really good looking shows on display here. So join us in going through every series Winter will bring.
