The posts that never saw the light of day

They can appear at any time. I could be walking into town, watching a mind-numbingly boring documentary on tv or eating a bar of chocolate when it hits me: An idea for a blog post. In fact I get so many random bursts of inspiration that you will see only a fraction of the nonsense that appears in my head. Sometimes I even keep these idea’s in my head until I actually reach the computer and yet they never get posted. So this time I’m going to dedicate a post to those blog posts that you will never see. Well, you will see them here, except not in the full glory that I had originally intended.

Osaka is the perfect header image for this post. So many of these idea’s I come up with might seem like a good idea and yet when I say these things out loud, they never sound quite as intelligent as they did in my head.

July Roundup

I’ve been wanting to do these monthly roundup posts for a while now but I wanted to wait until I had a loyal following who genuinely cared about what I had to say. However after realising that I would never achieve that level of internet stardom I decided I would post them anyway.

I’m going to use my letter-grade system for these because I’ve found that this system works the best for me.

I can’t find a youtube version of the song ‘Shangri-la’ by chatmonchy but here’s a good rendition by a 9 year old girl. If you want the mp3, gendou is your friend.

And yeah, I downloaded it thinking it was the OP or ED…but I’m glad for my mistake =D Number one of my playlist now, just knocked down ‘Again’ by YUI.

First Impressions: Shangri-La, Z Mazinger, Cross Game, Sengoku Basara

My third bunch of first impression posts for this season. If you would like to read the whole lot, I’ve put up a ‘first impressions’ category off to your left. See, right there, the only one without capital letters. Not sure why WordPress won’t let me put capital letters on it but I’ve stopped trying to figure out what WordPress does to my posts long ago. On the other hand, Bokutachi no Blog has reached an impressive 400K hits, so thanks to all those people who somehow manage to find out site by typing ‘boobs’ into google.

Spring 2009 anime season preview

Ah, the Spring Season of Anime. A lo’ and behold there’s barely any bloody sequels! For once I can look at a preview and not keep having to say ‘haven’t seen first season, won’t watch’. So really we should be basking in the glory of all these new shows we get to enjoy. Are you all looking forward to all these grand new shows to watch and completely ignoring any sequels about a certain short blonde fellow with  rather unusual limbs?

Anime 2008: A year in review

How the hell am I supposed to open this post? I’m talking about every single anime in 2008, the best and the worst in every category. I haven’t seen everything this year obviously, such as Aria, ef, Shigofumi and DMC, but I’ve had a chance to check out pretty much everything else. Anyway, here we go 😀

Since I'm limiting this to only anime which began airing in 2008, there will be no Gintama. But it deserves a mention anyway for being so consistently funny
