Hetalia Axis Powers episode 21

Ah back to blogging one episode at a time. You know it takes 5 times longer to write a post about Hetalia than it takes to actually watch the episode? Actually it took longer for this episode because of how much fun I had reading the history of Sealand.

First things first, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! THE RETURN OF CHIBITALIA HAS LEFT ME IN DESPAIR!!! I felt like crying when I realised they were returning to that fecking chibitalia rubbish. Surprise, surprise, it wasn’t the slightest bit funny. Plus it looks like Deen intend to tell a new section of the story which means more Chibitalia for the next few episodes, probably until the end of the season…:(

Isn't that one of those justaways from Gintama?

Isn't that one of those justaways from Gintama?

The Sealand gag was Hetalia at it’s finest yet again. I really recommend (only one fucking ‘c’ in recommend, I keep forgetting that!) reading their homepage, in particular the history of Sealand. It’s probably funnier than the episode itself including brilliant bits of trivia such as the fact there are 500 times more forged Sealand passports than real ones in circulation, most of them owned by people who left Hong Kong at the time of Chinese Occupation. Even worse, the price of these forged passports was $1000 while the cost of a knighthood for Sealand is just $7:50. That’s actually a great gift for Fathers Day, although it’s probably too late to tell you by this stage. I think the waiting queue is quite long.

Why the hell doesn't this guy feature more!

Why the hell doesn't this guy feature more!

The white flag gag is getting a wee bit old by this stage, a bit like the pasta gag at the start. What they need to do is not mention white flags for several episodes only to pop it in randomly, like Italy’s request for pasta during the Allied conference. And for the hell of things, lets pop in the most random picture of the episode.

What on earth is England doing?

Chibitalia was never made to be funny, actually.
Mostly for the cute (and sometimes pervertion) factor.
The second was toned down a lot though…

Worry not, tomorrow’s the last time you’ll ever see it in the anime.
It’s the finale. I’ve heard the audio preview already, and I arready know all the story from the manga.

The principal reason I really liked it, it’s because of the ending; it includes SPECIAL THINGS that shocked me a little.

Oh Sealand, I love that kid, there’s more of him on the strips, let’s see if there’s more of him in the anime later~

Need MORE RUSSIA.You’re not alone at all.
I bet more of him comes next too, there are some really amusing stuff that awaits Germany in his trip to Russia.

Oh, and England is starring at Japan because he doesn’t wan’t him to address Sealand.
Because doin that would be recognising him as a real nation y’ know.
And England is against that y’ know.

Ah cheers for clearing some of that stuff up. I seem to be one of the few people who are watching this without reading the webcomic.

Chibitalia seriously bogged down the anime it’s it’s first half and imprived drastically when it left. That’s why I was so depressed when I saw it come back but if it ends next episode then thank god for that.
