Letter Bee episode 9

Generally I wouldn’t do an episode recap. I feel I’ve found my niche with my current blogging tactic of ‘take random scene from the episode and blab about it’. However I felt that for this episode of Letter Bee an episode recap would be a fine way of tackling this episodic review. So without further ado, let’s get rolling.

2010 Winter Anime Season Preview

For regular, or semi-regular readers of Bokutachi no Blog you may have just had a strange sense of deja vu. Yes, this is the second time I’ve posted this season preview. The problem was the last post seemed to have offended Google for some reason. For the first day or two it attracted plenty of hits but then suddenly stopped showing up on their search engine. If you typed in ‘Bokutachi no Blog Winter Season Preview’, all you would get is last years winter season preview post. Now if this was any other post I wouldn’t mind but this is a bloody season preview! We’re dead proud of this baby and it took far too long to make to let it disappear off into obscurity. So let’s try this again: Welcome to Bokutachi no Blog’s Winter 2010 Anime Season Preview!

::Edit:: Now Google has decided the old one exists but this version doesn’t. Bloody typical

The info on here was taken from a load of places, including but not limited to ANN, MAL, Moetron, Chartfag’s amazing chart, Mangafox, Animesuki forums and a load of other places I can’t remember. Also a lot of info was taken from each respective anime’s website. If you click on the title of each anime it will take you to their website.

I completely encourage anyone to link this preview on a forum or wherever but for gods sake do NOT copy and paste the entire thing onto a forum or your own website. I swear, this happens more often than you might think. Continue reading ‘2010 Winter Anime Season Preview’

Asura Cryin’ Season 2 Episode 8

You know the feeling you get when the next episode just seems to take so long to come out? After watching an episode where our dear Tomo was tortured in the most horrible manner, we then have to wait and see what happens to him after he gets sucked up in the black whole along with Nia and Kanade. At first I had no clue where they could end up being dropped. Actually, I wasn’t even sure if they were going to be dropped. But after I had already calmed down, and I stopped myself from wanting to through my laptop out the window from watching episode 7, I finally realized that there is only one place they could go…

There's no place like home. There's no place like home.

Did you know?

Letter Bee episode 8

Grab the sandbags, move to higher ground, women and children first. The tearducts have opened and, judging by the next episode preview, they’re not going to be stopping for quite a while. Yes, my loyal yet slightly confused readers, this is the episode where not just Lag but a load of other characters in Letter Bee lets their emotions get the better or them, whether it’s through flashbacks or whatever, and let the tears flow.

Nyan Koi episode 7

In the last episode we noticed that the danger of Junpei really turning into a cat was much larger then he expected. I’m actually wondering if they’re really going to turn him into a cat or not. Yet, this time I think Junpei has finally got a fast pace going after a little help from a cat he brought with him to his class trip in Kyoto. Yay, they made an episode on my favorite Japanese place. Oh, and we can’t forget the special appearance of a look-a-like Naruto dude. As Brian would say, “more after the jump.”

Letter Bee episode 7

Well, I’d planned to do two episodes at a time because thus far Letter Bee had taken the route of a sorta double-episodic structure. Typical really that it should abandon that just when I decide to change format. The next episode preview after episode 8 was more Sylvette and was clearly a direct continuation of what had just happened. So I thought ‘screw that’ and so here I am, a whole week behind, blogging episode 7. *Sigh* I suppose I knew that as soon as I said I was going by a double-episode format that I’d jinxed it and Letter Bee would change. Oh, we also have these lovely author pictures now so you know which one of us is writing the post. They were made by Brian and by god are they infinitely superior to my shitty versions.

Winter 2010 Anime Season Preview

With Japans aging society and falling birthrate they’re going to start making more anime for senior citizens

This grim prediction was made by Gintama and this season proves it. OK, maybe not. But enough of that, welcome to Bokutachi no Blog’s season preview! Since Bokutachi is a proper team blog again, I’m  joined by my fellow writers. Yup, all 4 of the other writers have joined me to share their thoughts on the relatively small selection of anime airing next season. Now sit back and relax while you scroll through our lengthy preview and enjoy. And you better enjoy it. It took a bloody long time to make.

Darker than BLACK: Gemini of the Meteor episode 7

If there is anything this episode had proved to us is that a contractor does not need to use his or her ability to kill. Hei can do it, and so can Suou. The biggest surprise of this episode is definitely the fact that Dr. Pavlichenko is still alive and he has Shion with him. Slowly, the bigger picture to the whole plot is being revealed as all sides are now in Japan for pursue a common goal. This episode is also one of the good ones from this season. This review is going to be long. So please bear with me. More after the jump.

“This tea tastes funny. Oh wait, there’s a moon inside my drink.”
