Michiko to Hatchin episode 9

I got a bit confused recently when I thought I was the only person on WordPress saying anything about Michiko to Hatchin. Then when I get rid of the ‘anime’ part, it turns out there are a load of people blogging this. Why mine only shows up when you add in ‘anime’ is completely beyond me.

But that’s besides the point. Onwards and forwards to a Hatchin dominated episode. Which means it will be a great episode, right….right?

Michiko to Hatchin episode 8

I was going to be lazy and review episodes 8 and 9 together, I’d even written this bit on the top saying that. But as soon as I got writing I realised I had plenty to say about this episode.

Michikos destruction count continues to rise

BTW we should have a winter preview coming very soon, depends how long it takes Brian and Loba to do their bits.

Michiko to Hatchin episode 7

While most other anime are coming to a close, or at least a suitable halfway point, Michiko to Hatchin due to it’s late start is only on episode 7. Hence, It’s still actually hard to know exactly what to make of this show, especially since it hasn’t been the most consistent in tones.

 

Mind you, the animation is as amazing as ever.

Michiko to Hatchin episode 6

Michiko to Hatchin has had a rather bizarre release schedule of late so far, but hopefully it will even out soon enough. It’s much more enjoyable to watch a show weekly than 2 every other week.

Before I review this episode I would like to say I do not approve of the slaughter of cartoon animals for our entertainment.

I know our welcome bit says ‘this blog is children-safe and no misdemeanor acts here’, so the reason I’m posting this picture is so you can see how much Michiko has changed over the years.

Michiko to Hatchin episode 4

Episode 4 sees a bit of a change in Michiko to Hatchin. Up until now Michiko has been seen as a saviour to Hatchin. A not-so-intelligent specimen but admirable none the less.

This time I can only find one word to describe Michiko herself. Pathetic. Not the episode, but Michiko as a character is not someone to aspire to

Michiko to Hatchin episode 3

Ah yes, the third episode of Michiko was important because it was here that it had to show, in my eyes anyway, that the last episode wasn’t a fluke and it wasn’t going to go back to that crappy form of the first episode.

And it did! This show is beginning to live up to my high expectations I had at the start of the season. Mind you, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, there’s only been 3 episodes.

Michiko to Hatchin episode 2

Michiko to Hatchin returns after a 2 week absence. I would normally say ‘finally’ but the first episode hardly inspired confidence. So Michiko had a lot to prove.

And boy, did it improve! Compared the the drab, badly scripted first episode, this was fantastic!
