Yumekui Merry Episode Four: I’m In Love With Me

Well I was underwhelmed by Yumeji this episode, and aside from Merry’s cute antics, I was rather underwhelmed by her as well. Who did get me thinking though, is Tachibana Isana – but probably not the way I should be thinking.

For the past three episodes (and two reviews), I’d tagged Isana as a dull and typical character, and it’s not that her behaviour this episode around suggests otherwise, but I think I don’t give enough credit to the kind of girl that she is: The girl who wants to be friends with everyone.

Freezing 4: A Misunderstanding

Atia SimmonsRight, before we begin, can somebody please tell me who the hell this person is (see right)? I know her name is Atia Simmons because she introduced herself at the end of last weeks episode, but who IS she? And what influence does she have? Because if it wasn’t for her, this weeks episode probably, no definately would not have happened. Bridgette wouldn’t have exposed herself to Aoi and the school would have saved alot of money from damages, talk about a pot-stirrer! That being said, it was a rather pointless episode as well.

Madoka Magica Episode Four: The Cat Came Back

Kyubey is a creature who maximizes on opportunity – ironically, much like the witches in this World of Puella Magi. I’m sure he knew despite witnessing Mami’s horrible death, Sayaka (and Madoka) have wishes they want fulfilled. Even if they can’t think of any on the spot, they’ll come to mind when things calm down. And in that very moment where one of these girls think, “If only…”

POOF! Kyubey appears.

Fractale – Episode 3

Oi! In the end of last post I stated that this show was one of the big fishes for this season. After the first 2 episodes I was really wondering if that would be enough, but after today’s chapter I’m starting to believe in those words…

Think Cyclops is looking for his glasses...

Best Anime for the Worst day

Wassup! It’s a melancholic rainy day outside, the weather is rather cold and I’ll be in bed for the next 2-3 days thanks to an injured knee (it was worth it, it’s rather funny hitting your opponent with a rolling kick just before the round ends, just be sure to twist your supporting leg next time.. :D). Since I’ll have plenty of time to spend with my beloved laptop, I decided to dive into the unknown fields of my anime folders. Then I realized that I’d had liked to have some tips about which series would be nice to watch on a day like this beforehand…They might not be the best anime ever, but I’m sure you can find something in here to kill some time. Enjoy!

Level E – Episode 3.. Chronicle of a joke foretold!

Ossu! After 2 excellent episodes, I was wondering how the story would unfold, (as I said, I haven’t read the manga and don’t plan to do it until the anime is completed…). I had some ideas on how Baka would trick them all and get out of the mess he created without a scratch… Dude, I was soooo wrong about everything!

Get prepared...

Yumekui Merry Episode Three: Visions of Doughnuts

I honestly didn’t think too much about which shows I was going to review this season, and when I chose Yumekui Merry, it was 100% based on the beautiful animation. Who knew I’d get a good story to follow as well.
