Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 21)

Continuing from last episode, Gio begins his rampage against everyone on the island. Toa then actualized and flew away from the island, with Gio following behind. Gio’s persisting attack finally forced Toa to crash land on a neighbouring island. Now that Toa is unconscious, Jin confronts Gio and asked him for his erratical behaviour although he promised to protect to Toa. However Gio said that Jin could not save Toa.

Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 20)

Considering all the possibilities that I might get busy in the near future (I’m in 3rd year of my undergraduate programme, so more projects and reports are expected to come), BrianAndrew is now open for any contributing authors to write on this blog. The contribution is strictly anime reviews and I may occasionally blog about random stuff on this blog. If things are looking up well, I may segregate the anime reviews from this blog to another standalone blog (hopefully on a private domain). Those are plans for the future and I’m still considering on other alternatives. Now to the review.

Jin, Toa, Gio, Sieglinde and Kou continued on running away from ISDA that had been persistently on their tails. They were heading for the beach when Gio got a calling from Thanatos and disappeared from the rest of them. Meanwhile in ISDA, Kazuki and Widow were assigned by Sakaki to handle the Aegis experiment. Kazuki gladly accepts it though Widow doesn’t seem to happy to hear this.

 The Resonance
Gio hears the nature’s call. Continue reading ‘Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 20)’

Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 19)

Despite of escaping to the countryside, Jin and the rest managed got hunted down by the new ISDA team and their Agathions and this forced them to fled to somewhere they least expected – Tokyo. Kou justified his decision that it’s better hide among the crowds in Tokyo. In addition, they are going to take refuge at the single place where they are immune from ISDA.

 The Resonance
Not Amadeus. This is Alfred Baumgarde, Sieglinde’s grandpa. Continue reading ‘Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 19)’

Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 18)

One year after the Mars incident, Sieglinde and Amadeus were chased down by a group of Agathions that are apparently owned by the ISDA. From far, another person in an armored suit who appears to be controlling the Agathion, oversee the operation. Finally Amadeus was captured though Sieglinde managed to escape. It turns out that it was Sakaki who is in charge of the operation and gave a standby order to that armored unit.

 The Resonance
Amadeus and Sieglinde on the run.

The Resonance
I wonder who is person behind this mask. Continue reading ‘Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 18)’

Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 17)

Two weeks ago, Kou in a military uniform, reported the Spirytus incident to his superiors about how a dragon would go berserk after losing its master. That is why a Resonance is necessary as a form of communication between the dragon and its human master so that its wild behaviour is under control. That is also why, in the present moment, Machina had gone berserk after Akira who is her master has been killed.

 The Resonance
Machina is now one crazy bitch. Continue reading ‘Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 17)’

Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 16)

15 years ago, a young Asim was running in a forest when he first encountered a dragon egg. His face turned from excitement to fear when the egg began to make its Resonance. Back to the present, he laughed hysterically and being cynically about the power of love Jin and Toa have for each other.

 The Resonance
The young Asim. Once a brat, is a brat and always will be. Continue reading ‘Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 16)’

Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 15)

It has been the longest time since I review an episode of Dragonaut simply because my download source was compromised. Now that my download woes are a thing of the past, I’m set to my normal reviewing again though the update frequency would be lesser due to my tight schedule for the moment. On a different matter, I decided to drop H2O from my anime review because the story is really going downhill. I must say, there is little development but I’d rather keep my review limited so that I will have more time for myself.

Okay, I know this small talk of mine is getting too long but this one is just too funny! Click here to check it out.

Twelve years ago, the Emperor of Gillard received a request from ISDA for a military cooperation and nodding to it, he ordered Prince Rajna to take charge of the matter. However he was soon assassinated, so much to the delight of Prince Asim. I suspect that he is responsible for the assassination.

The Resonance
Inspired by the King of Spain
, the Emperor of Gillard told Kiril to shut up.

Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 14)

So lately I’ve been reading the manga for Dragonaut (serialized in the monthly Shounen Jump but of course, I’m reading them online) and I was taken aback of how different the story is. Even the characters’ behaviours are nothing similar to what we came to know in the anime.

Three years ago, Raina was working on shuttle pilot duty with Jin’s father. He came to ask Jin’s father why he only remained flying on the Earth and moon route only despite of being the first man to land on Mars. He believed that someone like him is important for space exploration efforts. However he answered that now he has something to protect. It was then Raina popped out a question to him about the D-Project and the Dragonauts.

The Resonance
Get up. The one-week break is over. Now back to the show. Continue reading ‘Dragonaut: The Resonance (Episode 14)’
