Given this was the second last episode of the series (though, judging by the previews for next week, Episode 12 will be a write off, which makes me wonder why they even bothered with a 12th episode), I’d come to accept the fact that Sakaki’s final plan of revenge had to be something “simpler” like flooding the village by breaking the dam. So this week, when he 100% FAILED to see his plan through, I was more than just disappointed.
Finally: After weeks of planning, scheming, back-stabbing, and brooding, Sakaki reveals his ULTIMATE PLAN to carry out his revenge on the Wolven people of Jouga: He is going to break their dam and flood the entire village.

Sorry I’m late. I was away on the weekend and when I got back, I badly cut my pinkie finger. So if I make any typos, blame the carrot that slipped.
But on to more important things: Who is Kaori? And what does her taking the Hunter mask mean? And is it really necessary to wear it in broad daylight, parading for half the afternoon with a group of seniors dressed in white?
Of course I didn’t ignore this from Episode Seven. I just thought a separate post would be better. I’ll keep updating them with each episode release and provide a link at the bottom of each of my posts.

Kaname spends more time researching the folklore of Jouga which gets her into trouble with the Vigilance Committee. I didn’t like how that guy who kidnapped her was panting though; it reminded me of Issei when he was aroused by Hiroshi. At first I thought he was having a similar reaction, but apparently he was just being inconspicuous by breathing heavily.
Well we learned one thing: I was wrong. Nemuru is the Scythe Girl. I’m sure NO ONE aside from me is surprised and I’m really not that surprised because it does make sense. If you’re wondering why I was so against thinking she was the Scythe Girl before, it’s because I’m not the most logical person, and either get caught up in being over-analytical, or on the very simple surface details (like how Nemuru has black/purple hair but the Scythe Girl has white). I’ll explain my theory after I get my foot out of my mouth.
I can say now, that this show is good. It’s taken five episodes to properly work up to this point, but I’m certain now that it’s one of the better stories this season. But before you stone me to death with comments about how much you don’t personally like Ookami Kakushi (or Ookamikakushi), I’m not saying it’s better than Durarara or Sora no Woto – which are two fantastic shows – but it’s not a complete flop either. And that’s something to be happy about.
Humanity Cat (and anyone else who’s still on the fence): NOW would be the time to get on the wagon if you’re still thinking about it.
