Kaichou wa Maid-sama! episode 3

For some reason, I always look forward to this show, regardless of the somewhat average content. Misaki is such a boss, and Usui is such a pimp.  Yeah, here ya go.

Summary

So Misaki has to learn the way of being a ‘cute sister’ character for a special event at her cafe.  She has to learn to talk like “oniiiii-chan” and “oniiiiii-tan” – which is the exact opposite of her shounen-manga personality.  Regardless, she ‘studies’, goes around asking others of how they act towards their siblings, and finally masters the god-art of ‘tsudere’.  And that’s the entire episode.  Oh, I forogt to mention: Usui realizes that Misaki is starting to act nicer towards boys, and he realizes that he loves her… I’ll assume.

Thoughts

In terms of humor, nothing different.  In terms of character development, a surprising amount for both Misaki and Usui.  In terms of plot direction, nothing changed.  In terms of my enjoyment, it is dying.  Yes, it was somewhat decent for the first two episodes but now, it’s getting us nowhere.  I’m getting sick of Misaki’s continuous attitude and Usui’s constant nonchalant expressions.  Hopefully, the end of this episode will bring something fresh into the next few episodes.  By the way, I so predicted that Misaki’s color would be white.
