Some of you were commenting on the illegal activities I have been pursuing with leaked episodes but I’ll do it properly for ya again. I’ve had enough Ladies versus Butlers so lets get onto something more decent, although that’s not saying much. Cats? Girls? Swords? School uniforms? Only anime can put this together
So the story begins in the morning (good morning~) with heroine/side-character Rinko waking up Yuuto to go to school. For a mishap, Rinko ends up being hugged rather tightly by a sleeping Yuuto and in the end decides to put a cat on his face. Like Junpei from Nyan Koi, it is revealed that Yuuto has an allergy for cats, although not as bad. So the two begin to walk to school, and we hear that Yuuto’s parents have died seven years ago, and today’s his 16th birthday. At that moment, a mysterious but cute girl comes and makes some physical contact before calling Yuuto’s name. Licks his neck even – how’s that for a sweet sixteen?
And the two go to school and disregard the issue until the break, where they go to the roof to talk about it. Here we can see the childhood-friendship relationship as the girl regardlessly beats up the guy whenever he does something stupid or perverted. However, one of Yuuto’s friends is possessed and starts to attack the two. When all hope is lost, the mysterious girl shows up and saves the day with her katana. Yay for cute girls saving the day, but even Yuuto gets some bonus as he “accidentally” grabs the girl’s breasts. Brilliant Holmes.

The girl reveals that her name is Himari, and she later explains appearing half-naked in Yuuto’s bed in the middle of the night that she is a cat-spirit that is supposed to guard Yuuto – but wait, isn’t he allergic to cats? The episode plays out to the end where we are simply introduced to the cast, some more fan-service, a “cat-fight” for Yuuto”, and the adventure begins!
I personally wasn’t surprised to see that this episode was an introduction to the plot and summary. It brings the main characters together and gives a general sense how the anime will run. I was a bit surprised because I thought it would be worse, but it turns out I was wrong. I will most likely be blogging this unless it turns into a Shakugan no Shana + Nyan Koi… or maybe it already did. The ending was a bit odd, but… we’ll see what happens.
