Kaichou wa Maid-sama! episode nine

Damn you, filler episodes!

The story of Momotaru rescuing a livvage of only men in need of females is the story our anime series tonight, with every character playing a different character.  Momtaru is played by Misaki and the bad guy is played by Usui – no surprises.  On Momotaru’s journey, she teams up with Usui and the Three Idiots (all as different animals) and faces obstacles like the pirates of Miyabigaoka Academy.  In the end, it turns out that Usui has his own harem and the women claim that they would rather live a life of solitude with Usui than with the men at the village – parallels to Usui’s popularity.  While Usui is seducing Momotaru, it turns out that everything was just a story being told by Usui in the Student Council room.  Misaki is passed out on the table.

I really don’t like blogging filler episodes unless they have a point, and this episode certainly didn’t have much of one.  The only thing that really made me smile was the peach scene in the beginning, but other than that, a disappointing turn of events.  Next week’s episode is focusing on that whole indie band issue with Sakura so it should turn out to be pretty interesting.  Now onto Angel Beats!

Sorry, you bald, middle-aged perverts. But thanks for the hit anyway.
