Amongst the scramble of work, SPIRAL looked at himself in the mirror and realized that it was Friday, meaning that all the manga would come out. Thankful that Kimi no Iru Machi was the only manga he was blogging, he graciously smiled as he prepared to start working.
Chapter 96
Unsurfaced Anger
After that huge slap that ended last week’s chapter, I was curious to see how things would turn out. I found out that it was all nicely played out, but somewhat predictable. It turns out that after Haruto chases Kiyomi outside, he finds out that she loves Kazama. After so easily sharing his story with Eba, Kiyomi is able to understand that she is not the only way chasing a person already in a relationship. She declares to Yuzuki that she won’t lose as Kazama stares from the hospital window.
Now if you’r really good, you probably know that Kiyomi will end up with Kazama or he will die, but in either way, Haruto will end up back with Eba. It’s curious to see what other problem will emerge itself after this since chasing Eba has taken about a good third of the chapters so far. I would hate to see Kazama die but bad things will or will not happen – we haven’t seen any other female characters for the last few weeks because I guess they’re not important. Hopefully, they’ll come up later but I doubt much can happen if Eba and Haruto get back together. So maybe they won’t? It’ll be interesting to see what more problems can occur but until then, Eba isn’t with Haruto… MAYBE SHE’LL GET PREGNANT. Eh… maybe not, but I hope we can see our old Hiroshima friends again…
Yeah it was pretty predictable. I mean clearly Kiyomi was in love with Kazama which was the route of her anger towards Eba. At least she and Haruto had that talk and I suppose got some comrades in being in the same position. Though I think Haruto has a much better shot getting Eba back than Kiyomi especially with the whole dying situation. I kind of wonder what Kazama will do since in the end the choice about the surgery remains with him.
He’ll probably get surgery… otherwise we’ll get ten chapters of characters complaining and reflecting on their lives… and we don’t want that
You make a good point. The last thing we really need is mass character angst for several chapters. Besides the only real way to make him get the surgery is to end things with Eba since it seems he’d rather die as her boyfriend than live and have no reason for them to be together.
